At least your sister is in the hospital, Piobaire. They'll treat her there.

I wish her a speedy recovery.

I hope your sister gets better soon Piobaire.

I had a really spooky and annoying day today.

I was like 100% sure I saw a character from my old daydream world. I was looking at him, he was looking at me. I was thinking 'this is awkward I don't really know him anymore' when he spoke. I looked at him again. It was a completely different guy, an old bloke asking if I'd please lift the lid to the freezer.

Someone deleted my Nation State because they lack a sense of humour. I find this is incredibly common with American NTs and English NTs. They need to grow a backbone and let people say what we want.

I slept for 11 hours. I had the same nightmare as mum.

Only good things about today are that I spent my afternoon listening to Ani Di Franco again and I found some Irish language stuff in an English supermarket.

Sending her good thoughts and healing wishes, and gentle dragon hugs for both of you.

congrats. do you already have your own place?

I just signed the lease today.
Now, I just need to move my stuff in with some help I think.
My family said they'd help.

I'm still gonna set some boundaries with my dad and his smoking if he wants to visit my son and I. Other than it being bad, I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to it.

that all sounds great.

Today at Barnes and Noble, bowel movement took 50 minutes. Rocks. A lot of blood. Hardly ever happens.

Symptom of colon cancer

Hemorrhoids, anal fissure

Legs itchy as f**k after changing clothes

Maybe it is contagious and gave it to some dipshits at aikido

According to the aikido tradition, they do not wash their belts.

Do not know how often they disinfect the mats

I think granddad is going to be ok.

I hate hearts. Not the football team or the card game, the body part. Grandma died of a heart attack when she was 59 so any time anyone has anything wrong with their heart, it makes me superstitious.

When I was little I thought all the songs with hearts in them were about her. There are a lot of them because heart symbolises romance.

I'm not sure I like reddit.

When I use social media I obsess over my number or my likes to dislikes ratio. When I lurk on social media, I don't.

I'm really glad that WP doesn't have this, I hope it's always like that. It's such an NT way to view the world. Yet it's so aspie of me to obsess the way I do and ruminate on it.

There's this woman on reddit who was saying how much she likes her husband. Everything she listed was aspie. Some other women said 'he sounds aspie'. Most people saying it added 'like me'. Other women were on there saying 'don't pathologize him just because he's nice'. Um... no, they were 'pathologizing' him because these particular personality traits have been listed together as Asperger's and we've been diagnosed as having Asperger's because of a similar personality: a mix of social ineptitude and enjoyment of learning and obsession with certain topics.

And yet I'm sure before TV came along, there were more people who were introverted and spent their lives on hobbies and obsessing over learning things because in some ways, it's fun. It's fun but it's more hard work than TV and the internet.

I wish we could go back to a world where hobbies were more of a thing.

I didn't say 'he sounds autistic' although I thought it. I didn't want to get into the drama. I said 'he sounds like my granddad'. Granddad is an amazing man with so many hobbies over the years. He really is my favourite man in the world, probably my second favourite or third favourite person.

There is a temptation to look up that inflammatory fool Ligotti b/c I am angry.

When I think about how Buddhism is philosophical pessimism, the monastics supposedly don't really base themselves on their parents b/c they have the sangha (monastic communities). Being stuck with your parents is true philosophical pessimism whensoever your 'consciousness' has exceeded their information thresholds (~'Better a man in despair than a pig ignorant and in happiness', something, something Socrates (?)).

It s---ks to not have that sort of freedom.

given the difficulty you had and the nature of the stool, it's probably an anal fissure.
