Last night, I had multiple weird dreams again, but I only remember parts of them, except for the last one.

I dreamt that I was back in school again, except it was a cross between high school and college. I was staying in a dorm room, drinking beer and eating pizza, when some young-looking girl wearing a backpack showed up and told me that class was about to start, and if I missed again, I would fail, so I decided to go with her. When we got there, the class was doing group work over a novel that I hadn't read by some author I had never heard of, because I wasn't there the day it had been assigned. On top of that, I couldn't afford the book, so I had to borrow a used copy.

It was all gibberish, but when I read it aloud, they were real sentences that made a coherent story. This was the excerpt I read: "The nurse wore a cartoony wolf mask that covered her entire face except her eyes and a breathe hole. She was a dirty blonde and wore her hair back in a bun, and she was dressed in a tight, white nurse's outfit that revealed her cleavage. Gilbert tried not to look at her in that way. Of course, all the men had been genetically modified to no longer look at any women in that way, except for their selected mates, but it was still possible under certain circumstances."

We were supposed to do some worksheet, so I tried skimming through the book to get the answers, but then I found that there were about twenty-something blank pages at the back of the book, on which someone else had been writing his or her own story. I started reading that story instead, and then I pulled out a pencil and started to write a continuation. Then the class ended, so I didn't turn in the work and just left with the book. Then I woke up.

I had a dream about a girl who was all dressed up in orange and she even had an orange afro wig and she was making an album cover. It looked really good actually because it was just her on a white background.

Orange
Orange denotes hope, friendliness, courtesy, generosity, liveliness, sociability, and an out-going nature. It also represents a stimulation of the senses. You feel alive! You may want to expand your horizons and look into new interests.
Wig
To dream that you are wearing an orange wig indicates one is trying to pass other people's ideas, work and opinions as your own. You need to start thinking for yourself. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that you are "wigging out" or making a big deal over some trivial matter.
Record
To see or listen to a record in your dream suggests that you need to consider both sides of a situation before making a decision. You need to be more in tune with your instincts. Maybe there is something that you need to say "on or off the record." Or the dream is telling you that you are going round and round in circles; you are not making any progress in life. Alternatively, a record represents a need for enjoyment and sensual pleasure.
Record Cover
To see a record cover or record jacket in your dream represents the image that you want to present and project to the outside world. Alternatively, it symbolizes your protective and defensive persona. You tend to distant your feelings and as a result, you may isolate yourself. Consider also the color, appearance, and type of jacket for additional significance. To dream that you are covering a record with a record jacket indicates a part of yourself that you are trying to hide or are afraid of revealing. Alternately, you may be putting off a difficult decision.
White
White represents purity, perfection, peace, innocence, dignity, cleanliness, awareness, and new beginnings. You may be experiencing a reawakening or have a fresh outlook on life. Alternatively, white refers to a clean, blank slate.
Clothing
To dream of your clothes is symbolic of your public self and how you are perceived. It is indicative of the act you put on in front of others. Clothes are also an indication of your condition and status in life. To wear orange clothing indicates one is putting up a friendy front and/or one is seeking adventure in life.

Thanks Auntblabby. That was really good and helpful.

It was a nice dream and also there was people in the dream saying that it was a shame for the girl because she seems really nice but she can't make anything of herself.

my wrong planet sweet  came to me in a dream within a dream- I dreamt that I was lying down in bed and dreaming, and she came spectrally, floating behind my head as it lay upon my pillow, kissing and caressing the back left side of my head, and humming/whispering sweet things in my left ear. then I awoke.

^What a cool dream!

I dreamt that I was back in college but that my classmates were my coworkers, and there was a new teacher who was Welsh and I'm interested in Wales, so I thought I would like him. When I actually met him, he gave me the creeps, although I couldn't tell you why. I think someone had told him that I would sleep with him because I had the hots for Welshmen :? and he kept looking at me expectantly. He was trying to get us to perform a musical but I don't know how to play any instruments and sound like a drowning cat when I try to sing, so I was really dreading it.

I have lots of dreams about being back in school and not keeping up with my classes and dreams of having to perform in plays where I don't know my lines and being expected to play music but I don't know how, but nobody seems to care when I try to explain.

Wonderful dream auntblabby :D
I keep dreaming over and over about roads, road-side cafes, vehicles, highways, my wallet and either having it or not being able to find it, and other travel themes. I think the dreams mean that I want to get out of here.

This is probably not my weirdest dream, but last night I had a very disturbing dream. I dreamt I had tentacles growing out of the underside of my tongue and on my cheek, and I had to go to a dermatologist to remove them, but couldn't get an appointment. My son also had a very weird growth on his abdomen that had to be removed. It looked like a curled up snake and was semi detached from his body. I was freaking out. Eeew.

I dreamt I was back in basic training [army] again only it was more user-friendly and coed, and one of the female recruits asked me my opinion of it, to which I told her, "I sure hope I can graduate in one piece!" there was a lot more to the dream but it evaporated. damn.

Last night I dreamt that I (it might've been someone else, I'm not sure) opened up my skull with some tools and took out my brain. I held my own brain and somehow I could still think and talk because I told my mother, who sat next to me, that "my brain looks quite small in my hands". I then proceeded to just observe the brain and all the blood vessels etc, utterly amazed.

I dreamt a lot of other weird things as well but that's the part I remember the most. I should add that I had watched an autopsy on youtube just before going to bed.

Brain
To dream of your brain suggests that you are under severe intellectual stress. You need to put your problem-solving abilities to use. Alternatively, it implies that your ideas are not receiving enough attention and validation. You are concerned that your knowledge and teachings are not be transmitted clearly. To dream that you are undergoing brain surgery indicates that you need to rethink some important issue. You need to change your way of thinking and put aside any misconceived notions you have.
Skull
To see a skull in your dream symbolizes danger, evil or death. Alternatively, a skull represents the intellect or secrets of the mind. You are keeping certain things hidden. To open your own skull and expose your brain indicates you are struggling to express yourself to somebody significant in your life.
Hands
To dream of your hands represent your relationships with those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication and can represent authority, hate, protection, justice, etc. depending on the gesture. To dream that you have unusually large hands denotes much success in achieving your goals. To dream your brain is small in your hands might mean you feel insecure about your mentality/intelligence/judgment.

I'm not sure my dreams actually mean anything. My brain's probably just processing things I've experienced during the day which results in weird dreams. However, a lot of what you wrote seems quite accurate. Very interesting to read. Thanks!

You should sleep with more blankets on. Or make sure you go to bathroom before going to bed.

In my experiennce anxiety nightmares ( flunking school, my dad finding out I had a fenderbender even though IRL he's been dead for decades) usually have the very prosaic cause of me being too cold while I sleep (or maybe by your need to take a piss).

I was in a cafe on the side of a highway near large crossroads. We'd stopped to get some food, but the owner wanted to be paid in cloth, like for sewing clothes, for some reason, not cash money. In among my possession I'd saved some cloth of various types and showed one to him. He liked the texture and said it was valuable so we traded the cloth for our lunch. Then I got back in the truck with my son and my partner. We drove away and I was glad to be gone from the odd man and his cafe, and back on to driving on the freeway.

Last night I dreamed that I was helping someone to choose a new sofa.

They're not nightmares. I don't feel very anxious, and I actually enjoy most of these dreams because I would dearly love to go back to school or be in a play or play music. I nearly never have nightmares. There's no air conditioner in my room and it's very hot here at night so I can barely stand to have a sheet. When I have to use the bathroom, I usually dream about water.
