] and fixed the other things but the car still veered.i see. i bought my toyota, a rather basic 1990 model, for $1600 back in september and so far i have spent about that same amount in necessary repairs/long overdue general maintenance. i think that might be all for quite a while, it makes little sense to dump more money on it right now. the veering happens when coasting regularly on a plane as well, but i correct it almost unconsciously at this point by resting my hand on the wheel (lots of play).
if i do drop more money on it, it may be for aesthetic reasons such as window tinting, and then some new tires down the road (heh). have seen these cars go up to 300,000 miles and beyond.
but besides that, i have spent very little recently. paid for bus fare with quarters...who does that anymore???
