Laser-tag and pizza...

I can't really recall my dreams ever.

I haven't had a dream that I can remember in a long time, but a few years ago I had a dream that my school was on fire.

I dreamt that I showed a little boy how to paddle in a canoe.





Wow, this one was short and sweet. I'd rather see myself on a big bad backhoe loader such as a CAT 420E though.

The Food Insurance Dream

I dreamed that you could buy food insurance. If you had a bad meal, you'd fill out an insurance claim and send it in. After a week or two, an insurance adjuster would arrive to look at the meal. If the adjuster agreed, then a week later, a real chef would show up on your door and recook the meal for you.

I found myself standing on an old wooden dock, sticking out into a small peaceful bay. There was a very slight breeze, it was summer, maybe 89°. The bay was bordered by arms of hills that ended in low rocky cliffs, which small waves broke against. The water was clear and as it deepened showed an intense blue color. I think I must be on a Greek island.

There were other people standing on the dock, some of whom I am acquainted with, some strangers. I feel no connection to what they are talking about.

I dive off into warm clear water, open my eyes and look at the white sand, small crabs and a few shellfish. An empty soda bottle floats by. Above, a small boat is being rowed & goes by above my head, casting a shadow on the sand. I can breathe and see under water. I am very comfortable and happy. I watch some fish, and decide to swim to deeper areas. I tell the people on the dock to let my son know where I am when he gets there.
I swim away.

I woke up, wished the dream would go on and on.

I had just moved to a large mansion, and explored it for a while, where I found all my brothers and cousins in various rooms. My Mum, Dad, and some other relatives were watching a movie in the living room. As I walked into the room, I heard my uncle gripe about the "scary bit of the movie where the man with the big, dirty mouth appears." I ignored it, but as I walked back to explore the house, a thin, ape-like creature with a huge, filthy mouth jumped out and started screaming at me. After that, I woke up within the dream, and an orb was floating over my head. After a few seconds, I woke up for real. Oddly enough, I don't even remember being scared during the dream.

I had a dream that I took Gilbert Grape (from the Johnny Depp movie What's Eating Gilbert Grape) and his family to the beach. Princess Merida (from Brave) was there, and she gave me a bathing suit. The bathing suit was a one piece but it didn't adequately cover me at all. I complained to Merida about it but she told me that I didn't need to be covered as it was a clothing-optional beach. I felt self-conscious but went swimming anyway.

I was bird watching with my mom.

BACKHOE PARTS
2/1/2013: Dreamt that I was being taken someplace in a sports type vehicle which was black and had an open cab with a massive roll bar on it. The roll bar was made of round tubular metal and black also. The lady that was driving this vehicle was driving very carefully. As we got closer, I notice there was backhoe loader parts by the side of the road to my left. I seen the excavator part only. Didn’t look like an attachment either since the seat, stabilizers and controls were missing. I also seen other yellow parts close by. Once we got to the place where I was suppose to go, the driver and I got out and walked over to the backhoe loader parts passing by a gas station. I was looking over the backhoe parts and couldn’t figure out what some of the smaller pieces where. When we went back to the building the vehicle and the driver disappeared because I couldn’t find it anywhere. I told someone I will find a way to get home.

Comment: Colors. The vehicle I was driving in was very reinforced for safety and the driver was an exceptionally safe driver while getting me to my destination making sure I got there OK. But, there is no indication in dream that the driver wouldn’t be back and that I’m just jumping to conclusions like I’m so use to doing in real life, since the driver never said anything about her not coming back for me. This driver may have had to go someplace for a short time while I was there and that is why I didn’t see her, is the feeling I’m getting from this dream.

Last night I dreamed that I was very successful gunfighter but then I gave up gunfighting to become a NCAA Women's Volleyball coach.

i dream[t/ed] that i had been stabbed many times in the chest and abdomen with a spike. i dialed 911 repeatedly pleading for help, but each time the person(s) on the other end would insist that i could not be serious. they made objections to the plausibility of my claim, such as, if i am really so seriously wounded, then how am i able to operate a telephone? they laughed and told me i had better stop calling. i begged them to send an ambulance, but they would not and hung up on me. eventually police were sent to arrest me for dialing 911 without a valid reason (that i was bleeding to death was not sufficient). i could not persuade anyone around me that it was a serious matter, even when i showed them the wounds. everyone seemed preoccupied. there was also someone else (a female friend) who was more seriously wounded whom i had desperately wanted to save. when the police arrived, they blamed me for her condition, though witnesses insisted that i was one of the victims. that i was severely wounded in a similar manner was deemed irrelevant and i was taken into custody.

My car ran backwards down the road and scraped a bunch of houses and vehicles before it stopped at the turn. Weirdness.

I dreamed that everyone but me was out of town at a high school basketball playoff game. To pass the time, I put up plywood barriers where needed for about half a mile of Main Street in front of my office, turned on a water hose, filled it about four feet deep in water, and then went swimming by myself for three or four hours before people started to come back. When I saw the lights coming from about ten miles away, I pulled out the plywood barriers and drained the impromptu swimming pool and nobody had any idea what I had done.

I dreamt that I boarded a small passenger jet. I wanted to sit in the back of the plane, but it was full except for one seat. And the passenger in front of the empty seat had his seat back which was so close to the empty seat that I couldn't have gotten in there anyhow. So I walked to the front of the plane and found an empty seat next to the bulkhead on the left side of plane. I kind of plopped down in the seat because I was mad about something. There was plush beige carpet on the floor and sides. The seats were really soft and comfortable which was about the same color as the carpet. Also, there was only 1 roll of seats on the left side and 2 rolls on the right side.

Last night, I dreamed I went to Manderley again.
