I never wear flip-flops. That's a sensory thing with me. I hate the sensation of anything between my toes.

I can't stand certain kinds of socks. They really bother me.

My emotions have far too much power over me/my mind.

I cannot so much as witness a good deed done by another, without welling with tears.

If it were not for EEG and my psychologist, I'm not sure I would have the ability to function, because every, blooming thing I see, touches me, profoundly.

If there were a procedure that could deactivate my amygdala, I would concider it...

Emotions can really be terrible sometimes. I'm sorry you have to experience them more strongly. At least you aren't cold and unfeeling. I wouldn't like that. I like who you are .

^thank you, Stampy. I just noticed your 'sock' post, after I posted, or would have said hello to you. Thank you for your encouraging words. I appreciate them/you, so much. I also, understand about socks. Other clothing, as well. I had, at one time wanted to design clothing that would accommodate those with sensory hardships. I, also, have designed interiors of houses (hypothetically, not in my profession) to meet the needs of us with sensory integration difficulties (Sorry, I'm off topic).

in the midst of a city-wide disaster i am one of the ones that have sat by and done nothing but look on...

While I understand this may feel like a burden I would imagine the other side of the coin would be a far worse fate. You are able to care so deeply for others it is overwhelming, this I would imagine makes you a great friend and confidante, a magnificent nurturer which in turn makes you a great mother and companion. This ability ensures your authenticity shines through for all to see what a great person you are because you care so deeply it cannot be ignored. Someone on the other side of the coin would not possess these amazing attributes.

I hope you are okay! It's hard enough there at the moment, and I don't blame you. Have a virtual hug . Hoping you can get out of it okay.

I am alright though, s**t I am doing good.

Its going rain and its gonna pour but s**t I am doing good so far.

I could have faired worse, and am going too some day but its all good. Its all a prospective of mindset, I am nuts... I AM NUTS FOR THE LULZ.

I think I am gonna be alright, things just don't process for me good but its okay, there are a lot of people who are NUTS.

I have not worn sandals or flip-flops since I was a very little kid.
