The God of Neoprene topic

Strapples, I have a neoprene elbow tensor bandage tensor bandage. I will tell you about it later, as I have an appointment and I had better get there, or I will be late. See ya later!

oooh... neoprene bandagey thingy... id like to know more about it :D

Finally I am back topic

Dear Strapples: I have this black neoprene tensor elbow bandage which I have worn when my arthritic elbow acts up. I may have to get a shoulder one because of joint problems (left shoulder) there. I have a question, or at least an observation for you:

I like the pressure of the neoprene, as it helps ease the pain but it causes my skin to sweat and itch. Do you have this problem, and what do you do about it? :(

I like you am in love with the pressure of neoprene, i also love its warmth and smell and feeling period... Neoprene does not make me itch or sweat and this is proven since my powerchair's harness there is always this bit thats always on my neck no matter how mom tries to "fix" my shirt which in turn screws it up...

i could see where it would get sweaty for you, cool your outside environment better... itching i dont know... but i have never had this issue...

there was also one time i wore a wetsuit for 12 hours and i had no sweating or itching, though it was warm and tight like a hug all over :D

i wish i had my own wetsuit

Have you seen this Famous Stars and Straps clothing company? I saw it in a Journeys catalog and thought of YOU! I dislike some of the stuff, but some of it is kinda neat.

Dear Strapples topic

I think I have found the answer. There is some lycra in the neoprene for stretch and this might be a problem so I will wear a sort of liner under the bandage to avoid itch and use some baby powder to ease the sweat. This seems to work. :) (The liner is the same as the one used to cover a stump before attaching the prosthesis, according to a therapist.)

But you are right. The neoprene is soft and snug. :D

Yes that solution would work for you and in fact i think that may increase the pressure of the neoprene a bit if it has to stretch more :D

i love very tight things...

i plan on when i move out of my parents house to buy a wetsuit one size smaller than me for added tightness :D

My battlebot used to have neoprene wheels. Now it has metal wheels with rubber treads for greater durabillity.

I luv battlebots. BTW, now that I think about it, I think Strapples and Neo would be great names for kitty cats. In the dictionary Neo means new or modern.
