Musing about recent changes I've made. Learning that new things aren't so scary after all.

I made it through the day at home by myself without having to ask my mom to come home for any reason (because I was really dizzy/weak-legged and needed a spotter to be sure I didn't fall when I was walking, because my depression was really bad and I needed to not be alone, etc.).

I have my hair in a high ponytail. I love the sound it makes when I lift it and drop it against my pillow.

It's the ultimate stim sound to me. Yes, I'm weird that way.

It says "FLOMP - FLOMP - FLOMP" when I drop it on my pillow. It's really soothing. You should try!

i can tell you have some thick tresses. my hair is so fine and wispy thin, that it likely wouldn't make any sound at all. :|

I like to tickle my face with the end of my pony, too. You could try that? Whispy thin would be soft!

when i'm distracted i'll twirl the end in between my fingers and sometimes caress my face and neck with it. it has gotten so thin in recent years, when i was young it was an inch around where i cinched the ponytail, now it's barely 1/4" i have fu manchu hair.
