I'm happy that blooie is happy, and she got a laptop to use, from her compassionate XH.

I'm glad there is still some good in this world.

The digital thermometer arrived and I got readings of 37.3C, so I could take my mum to hospital in good faith. I Spent from 8-5 at the hospital, being shunted around and eventually ending up in AE

Talking Drs into running tests on an over 70-year-old is nigh on impossible already, even if they can't sit up, even when their groaning in spasms of pain and looking ready to give up the ghost. It's taken 2 weeks to find an infection

One hurdle at a time. I'm having a beer and my thoughts are with all those who are under the weather right now.

No one I know personally has been diagnosed with COVID-19. My immediate family all seem to be fairly healthy. I am not exactly healthy (fighting some combination of cold/seasonal allergies/medication side effects), but I have no cough and only mild fever and headache, so I highly doubt I have COVID-19, either.
