I would keep a landline as a definitive back up for emergencies absolutely

At thirty, I should be allowed to drink in whatever pub I want and mum shouldn't be telling me where to drink.

Not going to places makes me feel lonely actually.

I agree no one should be dictating the terms of your life..

Apparently dad doesn't drink there anymore because it is genuinely rough (fights and stuff) so I'm not going. Mum's a snob so I can never tell with her. She says 'rough' to mean 'working class'... I prefer to take my advice off people who actually know places.

This certain acquaintance on the other forum I go on...is basically against diversity. He more or less thinks that there's too much of it, and keeps claiming that he doesn't care or doesn't have a problem with it, despite all evidence to the contrary. :wall: :wall: :wall: I keep having to restrain myself from getting into arguments with him.

Like in fiction, or real life? Or both. Is he one of those people who calls people with any kind of liberal-leanings an SJW and complains that things aren't as good as they used to be? Those people are kind of annoying, but I try my best to avoid them.

What do you mean by in fiction or real life?
He keeps calling things political that often have literally nothing to do with politics, and...ugh. It's hard to explain his views because I often can't understand them.
Most of my friends there are sick of his attitude.

But now I feel bad for ranting about someone on another forum. :( :wall: :wall: :wall: Only this one rant, I promise.

Simply because some people either seem to do it for only one or the other and I wasn't sure. I'm not great at wording things. But I get what you mean. It is quite annoying. Not everyone is interested in politics, and even those who are don't typically make their lives 100 percent about them. I also don't understand why someone would complain about diversity outside of fiction. If everyone was the same the world wouldn't be any fun. Everyone is different, I can't figure out why people keep failing to see that. For instance, I'm constantly frustrated when people say all men are obssessed with sex, because then I have to inform them that no, in fact I am not, and I'm pretty sure I'm a man. It is actually impossible, I think for entire groups to think exactly the same way. Human beings don't seem capable of that level of coordination. At least with fiction I can kind of understand why people are complaining, even if I disagree and wish they would stop whining. Sorry if that tuened into a rant. I have opinions, apparently, and I don't typically get the chance to express them.

It's not typically something I do, but it is nice to get issues like that out of my head. I'm pretty sure that if I tried voicing opinions like that outloud I would alienate people which is something I struggle with, because it's hard enough to get people to like me in the first place.

I don't rant much, or at least I try not to.

It is kind of nice though, sometimes isn't it? I feel a little better now for some reason.

At a 'health science' library and to my left is a book:

"Hello, cruel world: 101 alternatives to suicide for teens, freaks, and other outlaws" by Kate Bornstein and foreword by Sara Quin.

'_' Fascinating.

That is a rather intriguing title. Makes me wonder what's inside.

Unjustified power imbalance

Authority

Some lil dipshits act like they have unlimited energy to compete for what they want

The counselor has been flapping her trap for forty hours a week, thirty years. A lot of clients.

So I have a competitive disadvantage

Regardless of the moral high road

And even if I win, then what?

Jeanne Courtney still

 professional notes

 75 bucks

 could call 5150

And I did not take a tape recorder

Because of HIPAA

Even if I did not violate the Mandated Reporter law, so what?

The medics are going to believe Jeanne, not me

f**k Jeanne Courtney

f**k Jamie Adair

f**k mister redelings
