Pay the bare minimum.

Especially if mobile service is spotty during storms.

After Hurricane Irma my landline was out for five months. Cell service was back in 24 hours.

Cable internet also out for five months. Satellite internet back as soon as the power came back on to the house, which was 7 days.

Many people I know no longer have landlines.

If Ahmed Best's 'interrupted' attempt at trying to take his own life was more widely known would ppl 'lay off' deriding Jar Jar Binks so much?.

There is a 'SoulPancake' channel video where he discusses how he felt after 'Star Wars Episode I' came out, which is on my mind.

Unfortunately probably not. Might keep some from getting too harsh, but there's always gonna be insensitive jerks who just don't care. I didn't know about it myself, but I never really had very strong feelings about the characters it prequels in general anyway.

I wonder if people actually laugh at my jokes or if they just find me annoying. I have had people tell me I am not funny, so perhaps it's best to just avoid humor altogether.

Humor is subjective. Some people will inevitably find you unfunny, but others will most likely find you funny. Everyone's sense of humor is different.

Why does the government waste so much $$ on suicide prevention?

Overpopulation

Plenty of people want to live but have a hard time. Poverty, disease

Why not waste that $$ on those people?

Precious lil "people" are lil dipshits

They act all buddy buddy, until you do or say the slightest thing they do not like and then they act like you are :nerdy: public enemy number one

They say "how are you?", "Take care", "have a good day", "nice to see you",

Like you have to say "thank you", but they have not "helped" you

"Do you have a question?", Like they know everything and you know nothing

"It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife"

"Ironic"

"May I help you?" . As if you are needy and they are powerful and awesome. So they "help" you.

Condescending compliments like I have to say thank you, but they were judgmental

Idiots on the bus hurt my ears by making too much noise

Ass holes don't care about anyone except themselves (fine)

But they claim credit for "he cares about you"

f**k mister redelings

And they tell me . "You don't care about anyone except yourself".

When the real problem is, nobody cares about me

What is wrong with telling me that "your sister is so smart. Why are you not like that?"

Child Protective services does not veto that statement

It implies they love my sister more than me

So what?

There is no law about being an ass hole

Someone told me that that was a bad thing to do

But everything is good, neither or bad

You can't guarantee just the first two

If that was the worst thing they did in 18 years, they were great

Besides, what is good or bad is subjective

Slavery was good for the owners

Slavery was bad for slaves

nine of ten failed suicide attempts were momentary desperation. those folks don't attempt again. those are good saves. i agree with you, though, that someone permanently set on suicide is eventually going to succeed so interventions are futile. still, everyone deserves the best possible chance we can give them.

Goodness knows how as if I'm one to talk considering my past struggle with weight and an awareness of how certain family members find it a sensitive topic, but you know how your told not to judge 'possibly overweight' ppl?: a memory of a nurse of sorts eating a donut or something to that effect, when I entered to a hospital building to ask about an appointment or such comes to my mind.

This was the same person who did like a 'pre-interview' before formal diagnosis and when I she asked me if I could cook (as part of seeing how cognitively capable I was) and I brought up making pasta she said ~"So you know how to use a microwave" and behind my eyes I was ~ :| ...no, I know how to boil water..

Please understand she was a nice woman but those thoughts intrude for some reason.

How many think that restrictions regarding what can be typed will be a honest influence on how persons are named from now on?.

A girl saying she won't have children and that she thinks marriage and children are overrated, sharply got my attention in this video.

One of my co-workers who's also a really close friend of mine is violently sick and I'm deathly concerned for her health as well as her baby's.

that is a fascinating video.

btw, one of my sisters, one of my nieces, and one of my nephews never want kids. i wanted kids but married too late to have them. i'm happy anyway. and i'm learning things today that not knowing would have made me a dysfunctional parent so it's not all bad that i never had kids. i would have had a hard time letting them live their own lives.

my husband never wanted kids. he's had a hard life and wouldn't want to be responsible for bringing someone into a life like his. then there's the whole "state of the world" problem.

plus, parents take an emotional, physical, and financial hit to raise kids. parents of adults tend to be happier than the childless, but parents of children tend to be less happy. people should think long and hard before they have kids and not just have them because "it's what you do."

^That is so true. I also had a Hard life and wouldn't want any possibly autistic child to live a life like mine. I can barely take care of myself anyway. people Who have children just because its custom (and its really customary here) are so selfish to me i can't even comprehend their mindset.

A few days ago on the table I saw a letter with the local school board logo which was meant for my sister ( who works for the school board). We don’t know where it is and I hope it’s found soon.

Nice bird chirping this morning.

This and what cathylynn said before resonates with me—but also don’t you feel that it doesn’t really make the idea of ‘clicking’ with someone out of friendship, ‘post-friendship’ concerns like ‘romantic’/uber-intimate relationships and sex any easier or really any more appealing for that matter?.

:? I’m not too sure how this reflects on me as far as ‘motivation’ goes but don’t hesitate to say.

tubal ligation and, even easier and safer and less expensive - vasectomy make having intimacy worry-free when it comes to not wanting to be a parent. and for those not so sure we never want kids, there are reliable, reversible contraceptive methods.

I had my stroke four years ago today. Overall, I'm grateful that it happened because it led me to discover my ASD.

I'm staring misery in the face right now. All of a sudden I just felt so overwhelmed and lonely. I don't know why.
