^ yeah, I stayed away from the shops for 21 days, it's so calm and civil now.

My mum was finally released from hospital. She went in 4 days after lock down. The last 12 days haven't been any fun at all.

The ease of medical care:

Monday - Phone conversation with doctor. Issue #1 - described symptoms and she arranged to have a prescription dispatched / delivered to my door same day. Medicine and dispatch both free of charge on insurance. Issue #2 - respiratory. Showed her my BP three times, took temperature twice for her, answered a lot of questions, rested 48 hours until today drinking lots of fluids to see if I'd improve.

Wednesday (Today) - Follow up phone call with GP. She sent me for a chest x-ray, and submitted the x-ray requisition paperwork so I could go straight to the x-ray building without seeing her. I arrived and sat in my car until they texted me to come in. Doors wide open with fresh air circulating and no need to touch the door. Gloves provided at entrance (I had my own mask). I confirmed my name and birthdate as I walked to the room. Went straight through to a nurse for throat swab (not a corona test), blood culture test, and chest x-ray with technician all done within 5-10 minutes total. No payment needed because it's all on insurance which my doctor had forwarded for me. Directed out the back door when leaving. (People arrive through the front door when texted, and go out the back door when complete -- no crossing of paths).

If I need a prescription it will also be delivered for me at no cost.

Brilliant.

Elder ate something new (for him as hd only eats a couple of things) - cheese sticks! Or cheese swords as his little brother calls them...

Got a (Turkish style) bow and some arrows. Have been wanting to get into archery for quite a while. Learned when I was really young, but other than a couple of summer when I basically lived on an archery range, never managed to spend a lot of time with it. The last time I had a bow of my own, I think I ended up breaking my left hand and dislocating my right shoulder shortly afterward (unrelated) and never really got to shoot the thing.

Awesome, good luck. I learned to shoot 'Mongol style' years ago. Do you have a thumb ring for shooting?
