My idiot dog. He trotted up the garden then noticed a pigeon on the power cable and barked at it. It then flew off right over my garden sending him into bounce-around-barking mode. The only time it's funnier is when it's been raining because that path is slick so his four paw drive gets a real workout.

New first: an oriole spotted in the oaks and palmettos.

I have my grandson again this weekend. I am so happy my son decided not to isolate themselves against me any longer! In between visits we never visit anyone else!

The weather's nice enough today that we could open a window in the living room. Our cat is also thoroughly enjoying it.

Awww yay!! ! Im so happy for you!

I bet the child needed it.

I visited my sister she was so happy but more importantly kids were much happier than they have been lately..

She works where they force them to get swabs for covid19 done regularly at the first sign of anything mild like cramps , 1 cough etc.
And she has to wear a plastic face visor, and masks, and gloves and Gowns at all times.

N her husband is working frm home n never leaves home
So i decided to trust them and stop isolating from them likw ur son n it was a blast!

I took my Remedy enduro into the Trek dealer for new cranks & a bottom bracket last week. Next up is Magura brakes on both my bikes. After that I'm looking into Industry Nine wheels.

I resisted all impulses to spend during lockdown but then late one night I caved in after convincing myself that the parts might not be available for much longer . The wheel builder sounded so enthusiastic, in a moment of largesse I decided to order a matching rear wheel

My BB has play, it's some oversized hollowtech 1 splined crank that I'm not familiar with (it's LX, so worth keeping). New chain and cassette going on too.

It's a hell of a lot to invest in a 26" wheel bike but it's done now. The heart wants what the heart wants :P

Are you having any good rides cberg?

The industry nine stuff looks sturdy and not too outrageously priced.

A jog (very off and on .. I.e. mainly walking) in pond area with kid in atroller while nurse took elder out separately..

XH took so much from me. this was one of those things ..basic... .every now and again i can experience it though :)

And we are allowed to. Police patrol the area and never say anything to a single person outside here as we all keep a distance n v few out anyway..
