Tonight's evening meal for me was...

Image

...a pseudo cheesesteak with oven chips, garlic mushrooms and a salad garnish. The idea is taken from Man v. Foodbut of course this variation is significantly altered: it uses English cheese; it has a salad garnish on the side; not all of the cheese has melted, plus oven chips rather than fries.

A steak fajita/quesadilla. I made this yummy filling ahead of time:
1 finely diced, sauteed onion
1 finely diced, sauteed green bell pepper
1 can of diced tomatoes with chili peppers, drained
1 cooked sirloin pan-frying steak, cut into little pieces
1 prepared pouch of fajita seasoning
I mixed all the ingredients together and put some of the filling on a tortilla, sprinkle the top with some shredded, blended quesadilla cheese, fold the tortilla in half, and pan fry until it's golden brown on both sides and the is cheese melted. Then I put the rest of the filling back in the fridge for later.
I like to dip my quesadillas in sour cream.
