I'm glad you had a good day :)

Imagine if you had "Crocodile rock" ringing constantly in your head?

1. I remember when "Rock Was Young."

2. I used to "skim stones."

3. Me and (Theodora) had so much fun.

3 Who is Theodora? Susie Supreme had fun with her man Elton.

I remember when summers were hazy, hot and rich with 70s music (insert My Sweet Lord)

Summer doesn't have the same feeling as it used to.

1. I liked chasing moths and butterflies with my little net.

2. I liked boating with my family and spending the nights under the stars.

3. I liked wading through a stream to catch minnows with my brother.

I would say #1. You might not have wanted to harm butterflies or moths.

1 and 2 are true, although I was very careful not to hurt anything. I mostly caught moths because they were small enough not to be hurt in the net. I always released them after examining them in my little holder.

3 is my lie. I did spend a lot of time at a stream catching minnows with my brother but I didn't "wade". I liked to skip across the stream on exposed rocks or else stay on the banks. I didn't go in the water because it was muddy and cold.

1. I was really good at waterskiing.

2. I was really good at punchball.

3. I was really good at Trivial Pursuit.

Surely, teachers in this century aren't that harsh, are they?

Between you and me, you're my favourite potato and most sentient online stranger-friend. lol.

I choose 2 because I hope you are very old and grey -- having teachers who wrote like that.

It was part of the documentation from my days of taking an extra half-hour special ed course. More specifically, this was during my 6th grade year where I was making more of an effort to be extraverted. To be honest, I did a lot of cringe-worthy things back then so I'm not surprised, but I was basically oblivious and never saw all this paperwork until about 12 years after the fact, which was 9 years ago at this point.

I don't blame them for stating all that, as it was simply an attempt to get to the root of the issue. It's much like every other problem that arises -- you compile a list of everything exhibited that deviates from the norm and work from there, testing various things. I guess it seems terrible since that's the only part of it I scanned, but there's more info below that, which I omitted since it contains personal information.

The lie was actually 1, I think I was around 2 or 3 at the time.

I see a large 1 in my mind.

Correct. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't stand up on the water when it was time to waterski----with either one or two skis. I was an utter failure in this.

When I was 13 I was in love with a boy.

1. He was a foster child who attended my school briefly.

2. I barely knew him, but I made a fool of myself with grand demonstrations of affection (and, quite frankly, lust).

3. He moved away and we kept in touch, but the relationship faded over time.

You're right. He got adopted and left suddenly. I never heard from him again, although we didn't have a relationship in the first place. I was obsessed with him but barely knew him, despite my grandiose and shameful conduct in his presence.

He was only 12. 8O

1. He gave me a fuzzy sweatband that he wore on his wrist like a tennis player. It was definitely sweaty. I wore it for at least six months and even bathed in it.

2. I used to dive-bomb him in the corridors and sob when he was absent from school.

3. I asked my parents to consider adopting him, but soon realized that a brother-sister relationship wasn't going to satisfy my needs. (shame).
