TUF: You would be surprised how many Manchester United jerseys you see in NYC. It's actually a very popular team hear. People call them "MANU."
Certainly much more popular than the NYC soccer/football jerseys here. Not as popular as Yankees or Mets---yet.
When I see a Celtic one, you will be the first to know.
Yeah they do everywhere (unless it's run in together). And that's one of the teams where people seem to wear them every day. Especially on holiday.
I know of two Celtic fans over there. One was a great guy I used to tweet with. I can't remember his name, he did the Beyond the Waves podcast but I think he's now a full time dad.
The other guy was a bit of an embarrassment to be honest. He hadn't got the memo that we're not sectarian. This Italian American guy, used to do raps about 'hating proddies'. Very few people over here would do that, I think he was being try hard and hopefully he didn't mean it but he came across like a bigot

Our best manager was a Protestant, I don't have any time for sectarian bigots and that has never been our problem. (when I say that people think I'm saying we're faultless. I'm not, it's just that sectarianism means hatred along religious lines and we don't do that)
There's a CSC over there which is bigger than the one in old York. It's at Jack Dempseys.
