This. ^ They shouldn't let it bother them. Their intestines are all in the past.

Thanks for the fridge offer, Ferris, but I measured my dad's while I was there and told him to eat up the stuff in the little freezer up top because I was commandeering it. Got home and the bloody thing is buzzing again, can't believe it. Awesome! You're all fabulous, even Ferris.

I usually keep the deposit , there is no cooling off period in this industry.

I so welcomed the thunder today - please sir may I have some more?

The rain seemed to be evaporating as fast as it came down.

Anyone else think this grades scandal with highers/gcses/a-levels is going to not just affect working class kids badly but also autistic ones?

I got good grades in English, moved house & was put into a bottom set cos my teacher didn't believe someone could have 'special needs' when it came to something like autism and be clever at the same time.

I ended up getting 2 A*s in English GCSEs.

I'm really glad she didn't decide my final grades.

It's disgusting KT , Gavin Williams is completely out of his depth as a government Minister and I'm glad the Scottish government overturned it. It appears to be a class issue as pupils at Eton or Harrow will not be downgraded.

The hilarious reviews Americans have posted on Tripadvisor about Brighton Beach

Ouch wrote:
Only in Britain can a collection of rocks be called a "beach?" Wait: that is also true of parts of Cape Cod. Oh well: like Herring Cove Beach in Province town, Brighton town is far more interesting than the place where you spend your sunning hours.

We so desperately wanted to fit in a trip to the seaside on our holiday and sadly we chose Brighton. It was the most filthy beach I have ever been to. There were dead fish everywhere, broken alcohol bottles strewn across the stones. Construction sites everywhere you looked. Not the peaceful retreat we had hoped for. Next time we'll go elsewhere.

This place looks perfect from a distance! The shops are nice, clean, blue water, and free beach chairs. The catch is it’s all rocks and no sand it hurt bad enough walking to the water in flip flops. I can’t even walk on it barefoot or lay down there.

One of the best beaches I've ever seen was at Barmouth (Y Bermo) on the West Coast of Wales.

I've had two automated phone calls this morning telling me that my Amazon Prime subscription has been 'autorenewed' and that the fee will be deducted from my bank account. There then followed an invitation to 'Press 1' if I wanted to discuss cancelling the transaction.

An obvious scam. I don't have an Amazon Prime subscription, and I'm sure that pressing 1 would have connected me to a horrendously expensive premium rate line, or put me through to a fraudster who would have asked for my bank account details.

Anyone else getting these calls right now?
