For some reason, my mom gets much more concerned when my brother isn't feeling well than when I'm not feeling well. I get a sinus infection (which, granted, I'm prone to), she sighs and tells me to let her know if it isn't better in a few days so she can make me a doctor's appointment so I can get antibiotics, then seems to forget about it. My brother says he has a bit of a headache, and she's fussing over him. I get a migraine, she just asks if I've taken ibuprofen for it and then leaves it at that, expecting me to carry about my daily tasks as usual (and she gets migraines too, so she knows what they're like). Does something about me say that I'm just a whiner and/or exaggerating? Or is it maybe just because he's younger than me (by two years) so she has more of an instinct to "baby" him?

can you ask her?

I suppose I could, but she'd probably try to deny that she does it, and while it bothers me a little, I don't really feel like it's worth starting an argument over.

Other aspies are so individual compared to me

There should be a unisex salon set up like a barber’s for women who like cheap cuts and don’t like being airheads and talking about stupid hairdresser stuff

Poor people seem to think money solves everything, some of that is true but rich people sometimes have big problems

The woman on this video just pushed the man and nobody did anything

Frankie Boyle is better now he’s honest about being left wing

Our only right wingers have some sort of tragedy that probably made them that way

Lots of people are kidnapping farm animals now and freeing them. Because they’re vegan. Or from Aberdeen…

Some people won’t even admit that being NT is the way to get cash in this society unless you have some sort of STEM ability where they’ll excuse you being aspie

People underestimate how much it means to trans people when people get pronouns correct and act based on gender

I’m getting downvotes because I’m coming across as a bully

People say hate too often when they mean dislike

If a woman has 8 kids, she’s probably Catholic. If a man has, he probably isn’t

People choose to ignore or forget things about me a lot

Some people seem to think edgy jokes are automatically funny

Irish American songs seem to have a stupid sectarian edge to them

It’s actually easy to say the right thing. If you can’t stop your kid getting hurt, you’re not that great a parent

It’s not me that broke it. It’s just it’s me that’s blunt and aspie and, yes, distant enough to point it out

I wouldn't take it personally, mothers tend to baby their sons more than their daughters just like fathers baby their daughters more than their sons. My mother freaks out when me or my brother is sick compared to my sister.

Him being younger could also be another reason. Since I'm the youngest my mother is more protective of me than my siblings. I guess there is also that if you are prone to migraines and sinus infections your mother could be use to it and already know how to treat it so there isn't any urgency.

I'm listening to The Beatles thinking of the Beatle haircut that I could be the proud owner of in a few months. The barber gave me a bad haircut.

In my home town I went to a match and the guys there were amazing. There was this 25 yo who could sing 8 verse songs all the way through. Without any musical accompaniment at all.

Trying to figure how to deal with those annoying spam messages whenever your applying to a job online;where, often you find your email address added to a message list which, is quite annoying. Seriously, you should be able to simply apply without having your email address added to some stupid mass mailing group(spam)

housing, injustice, wondering about what help may arrive

I don't want to give up my son for adoption.
Hard circumstances.
His dad still is sending money.

What to do?

If I stay with parents short term, I may stay in a tent. It's too smoke infested.

I need to sign for more housing.
I need to get a new case manager.
