None of my real life friends have asked me why I'm not wearing a wedding ring or why my husband is without his. It bothers me that they don't care enough to let their nosiness overrule their manners. But I suppose it's possible they just haven't noticed. I only had a plain gold band. Nobody really looks for a ring on my finger except the random stranger who thinks I'm fair game for his flirting.
