Anxiety

My to do list.

Life constantly changing. My kitty has chronic kidney failure and at this point it is not reversible.

I feel like my dad is already trying to distance himself and trying to get used to the idea that one Day we will not be able to gush over how cute he is. I wonder what will we do when that day comes. He has become our family's support over the years.

People on twitter who want to slag off entire nations for fun.

I'm getting increasingly wary of 'kicking up' at entire demographics.

If it's 'in jest' then the only people likely to be offended are autistic or have anxiety issues so you're really kicking down.

If it's not in jest then... it's really unhealthy. I understand being annoyed by entire nations etc, I get that myself over some in some contexts (Americans talking 'soccer'), but hating them? Not right.

My mom provoked me into experiencing an anxiety meltdown as we were eating dinner.

I like listening to birds and repetitive things, but there's an American robin in my area that just makes the same exact sequence of sounds all day, every day. I think I am going a bit cuckoo hearing it all the time. It's become something that involuntarily replays in my head 24/7 now too, so even when I have my window closed I have to listen to it.

Knowing about apartment complexes in Japan where the elderly go live for the rest of their days after reading an article for my class. These places are like prisons for them.

Such places are called "danchi."

Anxiety

Someone I (try to) text with has notifications turned off for texts from me and it takes up to six days for them to notice and respond, and I know they text with other people all the damned time. It is unflattering, to put it kindly, and I repeatedly wonder why I don't just cut them off.

The monthly payment of the bus card I use has risen by three euros again... it hasn't even been long since they last raised it! Unfortunately, not using it is not an option since I work and walking around 14 kilometres a day to and from work every day would be impossible for me. I wish I could work from home permanently.
