i still can't believe people build pcs.

do you know how to get data off a broken laptop too?

It's fun! I've built a few over the years - WRLL is right - if your hard drive is still functioning any geek can get the data off for you...

the only geek i know nowadays is away 'til october :(
i'm not taking it to a shop, they might look at my pictures

The shop would charge too much anyway, you should look for a local WP geek - most Aspie males are born with mad computer skillz.

hum...

Any London WP geeks who aren't prone to murdering about??

You don't need mad skills if the hard drive still functions. Just take it out and put it in another pc or external enclosure. High humidity would make my seagate drives stick a lot in the summer.

I have a clean CRB :P

It really isn't that hard to DIY as it sounds

If you really want a hand sorting this out you know where to find me (down those seedy alley ways)

What's your make and model of laptop?

Is it still in warranty/garuntee? If not no problem

I'm in central london wed, thu n sat bring ur machine ill bring an enclosed external case for your hard drive and you can plug that via usb into your other machine problem solved

Then I can set about finding a good ditch to hide your body in

STICKERS..... that I bought in a booklet, I cutt each page to fit into a photo holder, so I can flip through and stare at them. Rawr, I hate errors.. Anyway, I have alot of tiny erasers besides this. Hearts that my Dad gave me years ago, and rainbowie flowers with smilies on them. I bought these with my Birthday money. I have a box now that is holding alot of pencils with Valentines colors. I also bought some potato chips, a slice of cake. I ate taco bell earlier. It was good.

You'd just get a pop on the nose and a stern "no". That yarn is for hats for my kids... and whatever I can think of to do with the left-overs. :P
