Define artificial.

No real instruments like for example real drum kits get replaced with drum machines.

A drum machine is a real instrument. Samplers and sequencers too.

Having made music where I performed guitar/bass/vocals/programming, music that was entirely synths and music that's entirely samples I can say with a fair amount of insight that they're all equally demanding in terms of creativity and skill.

The challenges are different, for sure, but insisting it isn't real music or lacks merit is just objectively incorrect. Among things, synthesizers, sequencers, samplers and drum machines show up in works by bands that are built around otherwise traditional instruments - does that make the act less musical or is it just another tool an artist can use to express what they wish to express?

Drum machines are great, it means you don't have to put up with a human drummer. Think about how many artists who are on the spectrum that enabled, there's a lot of weird loners making great music in their bedrooms, and loads more making music period. Drum machines enabled the one and two man band, ergo must be among the greatest inventions of the 20th century. Change my mind. Image

Targeted advertising. (Though it is sometimes fun to decorate your internet by messing with its mind....)

And ...yes...if there is a god it IS baffling as to why he would create either ectoparasites or endoparasites.

It kinda makes sense that he would create plants to produce life, and herbivores (plant eating animals) to eat the plants, and even to create layers of predatory animals to feed on the herbivores, and or to feed on lesser predators. And for the grand finale he would create fungus to break everything down and return to the soil (for the plants to reuse).

But why parasites?

Why would God invent tape worms, mosqitos, and fleas?

He was in a bad mood.

Must be.

The current "fashion" trend of women having lip injections that make them look like a dollar store-quality Bratz doll and long pointed fingernails that look like something out of a vampire B-movie. Seriously, how can they talk properly or pick up objects?

Jeans with holes ripped in them during manufacture for reasons of fashion. (Generally stitched by people who have holes in their clothes for reasons of poverty.) One day I'd like to take a pair of jeans, rip the seat out of them, hang them up in a shop and see if someone attempts to buy them.
