Getting to my counseling session on time without being told off by my mom about it.

I forget how Republican I am until someone challenges it. It's because some of the guys at my CSC are so tunnel vision on it, not even having pacifism as a goal (I'm a pacifist, they're stuck in the 70s and 80s). But yeah, my Irish roots are important to me enough to have studied a lot of history books from when I was 13 onwards and nothing makes me change my main opinions on it which is why it's a 'proto-politics' rather than just politics.

Someone not thinking about the history of Ireland as they make a comment which seems distasteful to me is not the same thing as someone being deliberately imperialist. But I find it hard to remember that.

Sevco fans pretty much mean it though. Even to extreme extents. And I don't trust their families either when they say imperialist things, because of that experience. They also mean the anti immigrant, anti Irish immigrant, stuff they say. I've met two Rangers fans who didn't feel that way - SNP types. In a lifetime of knowing Rangers fans...

It's so ingrained in Glasgow politics and football that it's pretty much impossible to not know what you're talking about. Even if it's an NT person who doesn't know it, study it in depth, the way I have.

Running around, always helping out,
I haven't been home for two weeks,
hope everything is ok back home,
Can't wait to obliterate my mind.

Had watched some people for sometime now.

Some of them are around the same age as I'm now. Around mid-20s or so.
Some of them are engaged, married and/or had at least a kid. Some of them would rather focus on careers and the like, each with their own reasons.
They got the goods and bads, yet all the same the usuals and not differing from another.

While lives like theirs is not for me, I simply cannot help how and what does it like?

The arts do have value. It's not the value which is as obvious as more practical things. But there are people who have been kept alive (away from suicide) because of art. There are conflicts which have been stopped by people coming together over art. Conversely, revolutions have been inspired partly by art.

We need both in the world and I'm fed up of being apologetic for being a poet and an artist or for having a literature degree.

More autistic people are artists than work in STEM, at least in this country. That's a stat I heard at the weekend.

A need to continue my urge to lose weight. In fact, I will be visiting a gym later today.

I visited another gym yesterday and felt great afterwards.

Does realizing my own faults in what I say or do and trying to correct myself and strive to do better really make me a hypocrite?

Not at all. Is a sensible thing to do. Don't be too hard on yourself when you make mistakes though. Just pick yourself back up and carry on. :)

I mean the reality is, we're all hypocrites to some degree.

I can't read people's minds.

It's not my fault if feelings aren't clear or hard to read.

That's true, but sometimes calling somebody a hypocrite is basically like saying you don't want them to make the effort to try and change.

"You were a bad person and now you're trying to do good? You hypocrite!"

It's dangerous bc of meth heads or tweekers is what they are called here apparently. I gotta watch my stuff or have it locked in a storage trailer.

Yeah. I got foodstamps recently.
It's laundry that's difficult at times.
