I knew God played a prominent role in D & G—but I thought God played a prominent role in many things.

It wasn’t till I was older that I knew its religious significance.

I thought Davey was a normal nice boy. He dressed pretty similar to how I dressed in school. And sometimes home, too. He got into trouble like I got into trouble. We were similar in some ways.

I really was naive.

1. I used to want to be on "Zoom."

2. I used to enjoy "The Electric Company."

3. I was not ashamed to tell kids that I watched "Sesame Street."

Huh. I always thought D&G was very religious because of the whole Goliath theme. Whaddu ya know.

My lie was 3. My dad loved to watch Hee Haw with my maternal grandfather, but I thought it was silly.

I liked Wait Till Your Father Gets Home and Doctor Doctor, but I think I only saw Dr. Dr. about two or three times at my cousin's house. It came out in 1989 and I always wished I'd seen more.

1. I loved Mr. Bill. I had a t-shirt and a framed poster of him waterskiing, on my wall in Uni (SNL).

2. I loved Gumby and Pokey but it was one of those mysterious shows that I never saw regularly. Gumby kind of scared me but Pokey was really cute.

3. My favourite Fisher Price toy was a wind-up television that played Row Row Row Your Boat while a picture scrolled by.

I don't know Zoom.

Did you choose my lie?

Oh No! I screwed up! LOL

Isabella's Lie is #1. I don't feel she would really care for Mr. Bill. He had sort of a cloying way about him. I used to imitate him, though LOL

My lie is 3. I liked my FP television but my favourite FP toy was the record player that had little bumpy records, and sounded like a music box. I also liked the snoopy type dog that pulled on a string.

1 and 2 are true. Yes, Mr. Bill was irritating. That's why I liked to see him in peril. lol.

1. I used to like the "Wild and Crazy Guys" segment on Saturday Night Live.

2. I enjoyed the "King Tut, disco duck" song done by Steve Martin on Saturday Night Live.

3. I liked the Steve Martin character in "Plains, Trains and Automobiles."

Planes, Trains and Automobiles makes me cry! (I'm a sucker for John Candy / Del Griffith) :(

I hope all 3 are true because I liked all three.

Steve Martin's character was funny in PTA. I can see you being a little like him, but with a heart of gold under it all.

LOL....I hope I never behave like the Steve Martin character. I would deserve a "kick in the nuts," frankly LOL I felt for John Candy; he was a good man, a lonely man.

I know it's part of the humor....but I just couldn't stand how the Martin character would be so persnickety! But he did learn some stuff about life, and grew up in the course of the film.

Do you like John Candy in "Uncle Buck?" I loved him in that. He was a good uncle; he wanted to keep his niece safe. So what that he drove a lousy car!

I always remember the end of PTA when Steve Martin finally reaches home to see his beautiful wife, and the look of love on his face when she accepts Del. Sigh. Maybe I should watch it soon.

Yes, he was persnickety but heck, I would be too if I had a roommate like his. (All respect to Del).

I saw Uncle Buck but I don't remember it much. John Candy can make me cry without saying a word, so I likely shouldn't watch one where he drives a lousy car :(

I don't know Throw Mama from the Train. I think it had noisy, messy people in it.

It starred Dan DeVito. He's a short, chubby fellow. He wanted to be a writer.

The DeVito character was in this guy's class; it was an adult-education sort of class which was supposed to teach people how to be writers. Somehow, he got this teacher to help him plot to kill his mother, who really was an evil person.

I believe the teacher had written a book which reflected the plot to kills his mother.

The humor was in the way the mother treated the DeVito character, the interaction between the classless DeVito character and the relatively "classy" teacher, and the stupidity of the murder plot.

1. There was a song, "Henery the Eighth I am," by Herman's Hermits---which I really liked.

2. I also liked "Mr. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter" as a child.

3. I also liked many other songs by Herman's Hermits.

My grandmother, the fashion model:

1. Had nicer clothes than I ever did, including a copper, suede miniskirt that she wore into her 80s (very tastefully). It's one thing of hers that I took as a keepsake.

2. Wore hosiery and high heels into her 80s (again, very tastefully). She looked 50 at most, and a sophisticated 50 at that.

3. Wore a signature shade of pink lipstick which I can still remember. It never suited my skin tone.
