The sad fact that nothing in life lasts forever. Someday, my family and cat will die, my favorite celebrities will die, my favorite shows and YouTube channels will end, animals will be extinct, and in the end, violence, bigotry, and hatred in general will be the only thing in the world that still exists.

Sorry if I sounded pessimistic, but I had a dream last night that reminded me of this.

The heat!

After a whole day of nothing, yesterday night I started to get sick, in all likelihood, from my second covid shot.
Fever, headaches and a left arm that hurts so much I couldn't even move it.
It's a bit better now, but I really can't remember the last time I was this sick from anything. It sucks.

Lots to do.

Some dipshit customer had the nerve to whistle at me and mock me

f**k working retail, with thugs as coworkers and customers

Anxiety about my trip tomorrow. I will be gone a week.

I've just finished clearing my mother's house and I'm about to step out the door for the last time. Its been the family home for 30 years, so it's quite wrenching. Everything's imbued with happy memories, I'd love to take it all with me so I'm going to drive away and pretend it's not really happening.

Having to go back to IMR tomorrow, after humiliating myself there last week because my phone keeps dropping calls after a half hour (IMR is a two hour conference call). I missed one session last year over a dropped call, and one client judged me because of it. So pissed at myself...

That today is Tuesday and not Wednesday. I had pretty bad days on Tuesdays.

A nurse was taking my blood sample in the morning and she pierced my vein with the needle in the syringe I have generally weak and brittle veins but I remember it happen for the first time in my life.

My family and I watching more news of the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan.

Went to get vaccinated. I was on the verge of crying. I kinda controlled the panic attack but still feeling it getting stronger and stronger even though I made it alright in the end, is NOT a good feeling.
