are you going to get poked in the eye? that is part of my definition of hell.

yup. :| but it beats being blind. the trouble is that it utterly exhausts me, the whole process of driving on busy freeways bumper to bumper, finding a parking space in a perpetually crowded facility, waiting in the waiting room and dreading, having the drops put in my eye [stings and makes my vision blurry, and when they do both eyes i am not that far from functionally blind], having bright lights shone into my eyes [OUCH! :o ], then the shot which feels [despite topical anaesthetic ] feels like a two by four shoved into the lower part of it], at that point i am out of spoons, running on fumes [it rhymes! ;) ] and having to sit in a hot car in the parking lot [tomorrow's gonna be close to 90 again] waiting for my vision to clear up sufficient to drive home. driving over an hour at freeway speeds, with blurry vision, is tough.
sore eyes for the rest of the day. usually fall into bed [in a dark cool room] by the time i get home.

HUGGGGGGGGSS

My mother does these needles as well. I always drive her, drop her at the appointment and pick her up so she doesn't have to drive home. I wish you could have someone drive you home! It does take quite a while for a person's vision to return! I'm sending you lots of spoons and best wishes, and a dark, cool room to rest in! Poor Blabbs! :( :( :(

thank you :flower: sweet Izzy :queen: i hope your mother is tough and handles them with aplomb. 8)

I hope your condition improves over time. Hers gets better in one eye, then switches. What an awful ordeal to go through but I'm sure it's better than losing your vision entirely :( Best wishes again!

I’d rather wait in a air-conditioned waiting room than a hot car!

Today the appointment was with Dr McFarlane.

Instead doctor etchiverri came

Doesn't matter

Surprised

She told me that the psychiatrist prescribed Zoloft

And discussed gorging

Then she got the psychology intern

The intern did not shake my hand or hold the door open

Asked the intern how I could inspect the psychotherapy notes

Intern told me, go to Information desk

Information desk b***h had the nerve to grunt "huh?"

Blame the company for hiring someone that doesn't speak English

Don't know who to blame

Then she said "expect"?

f**k you b***h

Then she said ask the doctor

She still didn't understand

Then I explained

She told me to go to medical records

The b*****s were laughing at me

Maybe I should not have asked information booth

Put on your thinking cap

The b***h did not know the answer

But it wasn't her job to know the answer

f**k West county health

But they were just being themselves. Idiots were being themselves

Extroverts are like that

Giggling nervously

Talk too much

Felt like gorging

All buses and Bart came quickly

Job interview

The job description doesn't say anything about weekend

The penis told me, if you don't work weekends, you can't even apply

Ass hole , it's just a minimum wage jobs

Job interviewer asked if I could clean dog feces

Don't want to

But "beggars can't be choosers"

She didn't ask if I was afraid of dogs

So I didn't tell her

But that's not in the job description

Even though it is a pet store

And I have gone a long of times

Fido is often off leash

Lil dipshits expect you to do whatever they want, for minimum wage, social acceptance or peer pressure

Habit grill

Bowel movement

(1st time)

Women's bathroom

Rocks

Blood in feces

Thought it was period

Not yet

Felt like did a lot of things today

Tomorrow do nothing all day long s**t

Make it illegal to say "huh" and "what?"

Doctor butler

mee too but after being exhausted and in physical discomfort afterwards, i can only handle so much stimulation, and the noise and hubbub gradually made me head out to the car. i would run the car a lot for the a/c and waste some gas but it was the lesser of two evils.

Omg, you're a transformer? That's so cool. :P

If you think weird and no apparent reasons fluctuations are transformations, sure. And I'd be waiting for the good ones to come if it comes.

But for now, I have to rework myself. Again. It may or may not stay like this for who knows how long.
And it will happen, again.

Gosh, I wish I had your knowledge of the ins and outs of Scottish Football politics. I think I can see where you're coming from on the Rangers and Hearts references though, but not much else.

I saw Hibs play in England in 1971, and Hearts in '74. Also East Fife in 1970, Airdrie in '71.

:)

Thanks :) I was about to mention English teams too but I don't have enough in depth awareness of them so it would be a broad brush based on hearsay.

Those are the two main ones I'd think of in this actually. Although Motherwell probably foul the most in Scottish football. So they're supported by people who are ok with their team fouling.

It's like there's three different cultures in Scottish football. The latter two (who aren't very good nowadays) are (I think, my knowledge of lower league football isn't very good) the ones who are very 'Scottish' in the way someone English would stereotype Scotland. Like tartan army types. Such types tend to be bad teams and Aberdeen. Aberdeen is a city and the fans get sheep jokes despite that...

Hearts are more British, Hibs are more Irish but not as Irish as Celtic. Weirdly their attempts at assimilation are to try to appear British, rather than Scottish. Green union jacks just look weird to me...

I once dated a UKIP voting Rangers fan. He was like what I'm on about. Even outside of anything remotely political. He used to point out to me who was ugly at our uni, the guys and the girls... (he was straight and he was dating me there was no reason for anyone to know he thought some random guy was ugly)

The opposite is probably some SJW who wants to silence what everyone has to say. I'm not that. I just don't think 'that person's ugly' disqualifies the argument of the 'ugly' person or 'that person is trying something they're bad at' means the person needs to be judged as 'bad'. And that's just the slight bullying - it builds and builds until it's racism or something. (that same ex called my 9 yo nephew a n....r) It comes from the same kind of basis, I'd rather criticise people based on the choices they actively make, the teams and political parties and politicians they actively choose to make their own and the way they behave like if they pick on people over stupid stuff or shout at people in the street.

Idk maybe I'm still childish, cos this was how we were told to behave/think when we were about 4 or 5.

I asked mum about the guy I was wondering the inappropriate thing about and she said 'maybe he just wants to look unique, not everyone does everything to look attractive' which is an interesting answer. I always ask mum those kinds of questions rather than broadcasting them online.

Went swimming today for first time in 2 years and can still vaguely remember how :) Then finished my initial sketch.

Now, finish chapter.
