Ah....the Sweet Scent of Lilacs has arrived! Buenos Dias!

Yep...even as a little kid, I thought the notion that the Moon was made of green cheese was ridiculous.

1. Even though I'm a "masculine man," I'd still like to have a flowered bedspread/duvet.

2. I once had a nice time with a woman who had a Four-Poster.

3. I once had an encounter with a woman while we both shared a sleeping bag in the woods.

LMAO you and your encounters.

I think 3. That sounds awful. I can't even use a sleeping bag on my own, let alone share one.

You're right....I don't believe I'd be comfy sharing a sleeping bag, either. The "encounter" never happened.

I'm going to read for a bit, but in the meantime here are some songs to start my day:

1. Cloudy, S&G

2. Summer Wind, Sinatra

3. Blinded by the Light, Manfred Mann

Which one will I not play momentarily?

#2. Summer Wind.

Do you like "Summer Breeze" by Seals and Croft? I wasn't into the Singer/Songwriter thing when I was a kid; I started liking it as a young adult.

1 and 2 are true. I've already played them.

3 is my lie. I love Blinded by the Light, but it is very sentimental (of my father) and it gives me winter synaesthesia, so I only listen to it in January. Yes, I'm weird.

Seals and Croft : I never really payed attention to that song before, and I don't associate it with summer. Now I've listened to the lyrics. Interesting. I'll have to start reframing how I hear that song.

You ARE cuckoo....but a nice cuckoo! LOL

Those are the kind of people I like: "nice cuckoo." I'm pretty cuckoo myself LOL

1. I really DON'T know the way to San Jose.

2. I thought "Take a letter, Maria" was such a "progressive" song when I first heard it in 1969.

3. I liked "Backfield in Motion" because it sounded like football. I didn't know it was about relationships back in 1969.

2.

I had no clue what In Through the Out Door was about. Zeppelin. 8)

Isn't it fun to be clueless? That's me, most of the time.

I told you that I thought Eric Clapton really shot a sherriff.

At least he didn't shoot the deputy LOL

Actually, the answer is #1. Literally, all I have to do is look at a map, and I would know I get to San Jose via I-5, primarily LOL.

I liked "Take a letter, Maria" because I thought the guy was unhappy with his wife, and would be happier with the secretary. I was a dumb little kid LOL. My parents were having marital troubles at the time.

"Backfield in Motion" occurs in American football, right before the football is snapped from the center to the quarterback. It is meant to confuse the defense.

1. When I used to listen to "Blinded by the Light," by Manfred Mann, I thought the lyrics stated "Blinded by the light.....Take off like a DOUCHE....."

2. I used to think that "Soul Man," by Sam and Dave, made a reference to Woodstock, even though Woodstock wouldn't occur until 2 years after "Soul Man" came out.

3. In "Bad Moon Rising," by Creedence Clearwater Revival, I used to think that the lyric went "There's a bathroom to the right"

The answer is #3. It seemed as if some people believed that "Bad Moon Rising" had the "bathroom" lyric in it----but I didn't notice it. I didn't notice the lyrics of that song at all, really. I sucked at noticing lyrics when I was a little kid.

I still can't get the "Woodstock" thing out of my mind when I listen to "Soul Man." I have to Google the lyrics.

"Blinded by the Light" came out when I was 16. I was able to understand lyrics better by that time.

Dang, that's what I get for picking the "immediately obvious" answer.
