I'm sorry to hear that. Hugs.Image

That could be dangerous, and it does sound severe. I hope the condition improves and the eardrum gets repaired.

I was showing a piece of my special interest to my father, but he turned it into an excessively long discussion about connecting to people and opening up [sic] . Apparently, there is still some denial regarding my AS on his part.

ADDITION:
No matter how hard I force it to do so, my brain cannot seem to meet my general quota for oxytocin or it could be the neurophysin. Either way, it means I cannot easily switch between NT emulation and being a case of AS.

The more people I meet, the more I like my dog.

I didn't get enough of sleep, was late for work, some random stranger just grabbed me by the hand in the street :( and the weather is still horrible. I hate Mondays.

Sounds like a bizarre thing to do to a random person in the street. Were they young or old?

That is more than a little disturbing. Even without an aversion for tactile contact, it is still strange.

Got a letter in the mail saying that my food stamp card will be canceled on December 1 because I failed to fill out and send in the renewal paperwork.

The renewal paperwork that I filled out and sent in.

Sigh. I can see my future, starting tomorrow: Lots of phone calls and trips to the Department of Human Services office.

He was around 50 years old and drunk. He didn't say anything so I have no idea what he wanted from me. I jumped away and just kept on walking quickly. :(

Probably better that you didn't know what he wanted from you. Sounds like he was out of his mind. :O

Figurative foot-in-mouth.

I should not discuss it.

my dad started up with his you need to change universities and you are going to look into it tomorrow crap again. he started suggesting catholic unis. i dont want to be in a conservative environment, not when im just starting to feel more comfortable not hidding my orientation from people and i dont want to be in a place that is not bound by anti discrimination laws and i dont want to be in a place where im isolated from people i know. it might interfer with my plans to see my friend and apply for work too.
