Two truths and a lie

As a ten year old student I did painstaking research on the following subjects. I still have these reports, complete with their illustrations and lists of works cited.

1. Ten pages of handwritten information about archaeology and King Tut.

2. A report comparing the cultures of Italy and Japan.

3. A detailed description of local bird sanctuaries, with information about endangered species.

I sometimes feel similarly about the Sun.

I sense your lie is #2.

1 and 2 are true. I couldn't decide between Italy or Japan as the subject of my research, so I undertook both.

3 is my lie. I did write a short report about my trip to a bird sanctuary when I was six years old, but it didn't discuss endangered species.

I still have all of them, along with a project about Dinosaurs. I love my drawings

I have a peanut allergy.
I have 3 brothers.
I don't like cilantro.

The I have 3 brothers was a lie. I don't have any brothers.

1. One of my kitties follows me and my dog, when we walk around town. I feel like the pied piper.

2. One of my kitties had invasive surgery for breast cancer, but the biopsy was negative.

3. One of my kitties likes to climb up the screen on my side door and look in the window.

I hope it's #2.....and that there was no biopsy.

Wrong again. 2 is true. My female kitty had large, hard mammary lumps which were thought to be cancerous. They were all removed but the tests were benign. This was three years ago.

1 is true. My male kitty will follow us all over town unless we leave without him seeing


3 is my lie because my current cats don't do this. When I was a child my (other) cat used to spend a lot of time outdoors. He would climb up the screen door and stare at us through the window when he wanted to come in. We'd be sitting in the kitchen and suddenly a cat face would appear in the window (human height)

I'm relieved that they were benign.....

1. I had a cat named Tootsie.

2. I had a cat named Whitie.

3. Whitie took a fancy to Floyd.

1. I've never heard of Tootsie.

Tootsie was one of my kitties when I lived on Nixon Court.

She was the one who took a fancy to Floyd.

Whitie was the modest, Victorian lady cat.
