Its either feeling like a ret*d among people or getting tortured by my ocd when alone. I wish i could Just feel safe.

I got my first gray at 15. I now have lots of silvers that contrast with my very dark hair, and I've learned to love them. I call them my "unicorn sparkles", and I've even convinced my younger niece that they are something to be earned with age. She says she can't wait to get hers! I also finally convinced my mother (now in her early 60s) that she didn't need to keep dyeing her hair every month to cover up her white hair.

It makes me so sad and frustrated that society brainwashes us into thinking that aging is a bad thing. It's perfectly natural...and such a beautiful process (heck, there are even teenagers dyeing their hair gray these days...)

Grey hair looks good. I keep seeing people who have dyed their hair grey, it's fashionable.

Also I have no sympathy because my hair started falling out at 16 and I was bald by 23 so I've looked like an old codger my whole adult life :)
