Oh yeah, unhappy because I didn't sleep and had another weird asthma-ish type thing in the night. I don't want to develop asthma.

Grey hair looks good. I keep seeing people who have dyed their hair grey, it's fashionable.

I agree. I think it adds so much personality, especially when it is natural grey/silver.

Can you describe your issue? I'm curious if you might benefit from a sleep study. I need to have one performed on myself as I suspect I have UARS (a comorbidity with hypermobility spectrum disorder and dysautonomia).

I honestly think it's dietary. I stopped eating sugar and refined carbohydrates for about 2 years but a few months ago I broadened my diet again and since then I've had a sort of 'crackling' in my lungs that comes on about 10pm each evening. A couple of times it's developed into an uncomfortable shortness of breath and I've had to borrow my partner's asthma inhaler. That's what happened last night, I think I kept waking up because I couldn't breathe. I'd eaten a curry for dinner and spicy food never really agrees with me. I worry about asthma because my entire family has it and I seemed to be the only one who dodged that genetic bullet, I don't fancy starting now.

This sounds like it might be acid reflux or a GI issue. I have both GI issues (dysmotility) and seasonal asthma, and sometimes the sensations can be quite similar. Another note: asthma and acid reflux often occur together (and make each other worse).

I hope you can figure out what is going on either way. Do you plan on seeing a doctor about it?

Just feeling down in general. I'm not a fan of the holidays, and the bad news about the house we put a bid on is making me even more frustrated/grumpy/unstable today.

We likely will have to pull out of the contract, yes. We are waiting to hear back from the sellers. If they are unwilling to remediate the issues that were detected during the inspection yesterday, then we will have no choice. We have until Monday to back out. What a crappy holiday gift.

That sucks. :? I hope that the sellers are willing to fix the problems with the house, or that if you guys do have to back out that you can find an even better home.

I had this same issue until a couple of years ago. I could never understand audio on music videos, even though I listened to music all of the time. Had to look the lyrics up & read them/follow them whilst listening to the audio.

Not good for the workplace, indeed.

My internet access is limited to my phone atm and my vision isn't good enough to read my phone.

That, and ads. Holy shite, the ads!

I think you can get an adblocker, even for Android or iOS?
