I have nothing to be proud of. Education doesn't seem like such an accomplishment. Oh wait, I guess my ability to acquire a few dear friends who would chew their arm of for me despite my being a complete inconsiderate whack job.

From 7th grade to 11th I had a perfect attendance streak going on, but I didn't consider it much of an accomplishment. Since showing up every day was easy to do.

There was a commercial in the 80s and 90s for Nestea which depicted a person dropping head first into a swimming pool. He had taken the "Nestea Plunge."

It's a metaphor, basically, for "just winging it," trying new things, "plunging" into the unknown. , for ad-libbing it.

Equivalent, also, is plunging into a cold lake without forethought of the cold you will feel. It should be noted that once one gets over the initial shock, one becomes accustomed to the situation, and succeeds in the situation.

Next question: Have your trees bloomed yet?

You must be in far-Northern Minnesota or Michigan, or somewhere else North Central You're a nice person; I hope you're not affected by flooding.

Around April 11th, here in New York City, the forsythias finally bloomed. They usually bloom around March 25 or so. Other trees and shrubs have followed suit. We are "catching up."

What is your favorite type of art?
