The button bush are blooming. The butterflies love the blooms which are as round as a ball in all three directions and have hundreds of tiny stamens. All in white. They remind me of Aspergillus spore heads, if you happen to know what those are.

Water-spider orchid blooming. Native to Florida, I am so pleased it chose my pond to grow around. It is the only naturally occurring aquatic orchid.

They caught the couple who were (allegedly) involved in the fatal shooting of a 6-year old boy on a local freeway.
