You're right, 1 is my lie. It's a lie because I only have three cousins on that side, not four. The eldest two were adopted because my aunt and uncle had difficulty conceiving. They adopted my male cousin and were notified two years later that the boy's natural sister was also available. They adopted her. Those two are natural siblings. My aunt finally became pregnant and had a third child (a boy), when their little girl was only a few months old.

The oldest is the one in Mexico. The girl is the one who lives not far from me. The youngest boy (my biological cousin)... that's another story.

As a child:

1. I got rashes and welts from my allergies, and was given an Epipen as precaution.

2. I required allergy injections once a week for about ten years.

3. I attended a hospital respiratory clinic to breathe with special equipment which would expand my lung capacity. I went once a week for years.

4. I had bacterial pneumonia nearly every October. It was caused by my allergies.

3 true, 1 lie.

#1. I don't believe EpiPen was widely available to the public in the 1970s, though it was developed then.

1. I had roseola as a six-month-old.

2. I had the mumps as a 7-year-old, the same year the mumps vaccine came out (It was never called just "mumps," but "the mumps")

3. I had measles as a 2-year-old, the same year the measles vaccine came out (It was usually called "the measles," though sometimes just "measles" was used).

Another Aspie note: The Bronx is never referred to as just "Bronx." It's always "The Bronx."

Right. I didn't have an Epipen; nor did I get rashes or welts. My allergies have always caused respiratory illnesses such as bronchitis or pneumonia. Hence, the respiratory clinic.

I don't think you had mumps. 8) I mean "the mumps".

Correct. Never had the mumps----though a kid in my first-grade class had them one day (I don't think they sent him home right away).

1. I was in a special class within a public school in first grade. I had to take a big bus to Manhattan from Queens.

2. We celebrated Flag Day in first grade by going outside the school, and saluting the big flag on the roof of the school.

3. my first grade teacher was very nice and kind---and never got frustrated with me.

1. I took a class in watercolour painting, as an adult hobby.

2. I know how to use a kiln to fire clay sculptures.

3. I've used a pottery wheel but didn't do very well, and no ghosts appeared.

I'm leaning towards #1.....

There's a Sculptress vibe to you----more than there's a painting vibe.

You're right!

I'm actually pretty bad at sculpting but I did learn how to operate a kiln and I used a pottery wheel (with laughable results).

I like the idea of sculpting but my 3D spatial sense is terrible.

1. I was thrown out of a few classes because this red-headed teacher didn't like me.

2. In 7th grade, this obviously gay male English teacher favored the girls----perhaps for obvious reasons--because 7th grade boys rarely get into poetry and literature. I failed him one semester.

3. When I transferred to another junior high school in the middle of 8th grade, I was overwhelmed by "Julius Caesar," and almost failed that semester.

1. I think the red haired teacher is the one with whom you connected very well.

Nope. She couldn't stand my guts LOL. A black-haired teacher liked me after once throwing a book at me in exasperation.
