Weather memories

I get sensory flashbacks when the weather is exactly the same as a day from my past. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Today the humidity, the scent of the air, the temperature, the breeze, are all exactly like one of my best memories ever - a boating holiday with my grandfather when I was 13. It's not the weather I love, but the memory of the little island and the motion of the waves.

All that's missing are these two songs, which I had on cassette on the boat. They were taped from the radio lol.





I read the book Rosemary's Baby during that holiday, too. :twisted:

I saw a bold jumping spider. When I went to put him outside he put his little arms up in protest. He seemed curious about me until I did that, and then was just angry and jumped away. lol

Went to a toystore to pass time while waiting for the bus. There I saw barbie dolls, both men and women, that were in wheelchairs. First time I saw such dolls; I don't think there were any of them around when I was a kid.
