feels like a severed thread
likely assumed too much in the beginning (my fault)
back to those daydreams in my head
hopes to change that great regret receding
but there's nothing really there that can be said
still gonna be here though, for me, sometimes believing

I also guess how old life stuff still catches up to you even if not even related to you. My father moved us out here to escape that (not that it helped back then, but you know). This pales, but it's a bother.
