Have to wait until tomorrow to get groceries for the third week in a row because of the weather, and my mom has to look after my dad after his accident, anyway.

Caught one of those unavoidable fists to my jerk face when putting someone in the recovery position, as no reflexes can help when your head is within range and both your arms are doing something. No problem, and the TN was already going strong. I can't tell her about it. Unhappy about what causes it and how it makes her suffer. I made her laugh, which I sometimes can do; I'm not much of a clown though (I think morbid humour is all I can do, but I don't intend to be funny).

Beat myself up over things from the past, but I shouldn't. The past is the past. The present it what matters the most.

My bad luck and how it's not just centered on me, but this might just be "magical thinking".

Yeah, that was another opportunity to show some interest in me that you just passed up. Instead of thanking me for sharing, you might have given it a listen so you could have a conversation about it. You know, like I did for you?

Forgot to pay my cable bill and they let me know by disconnecting my internet. You'd think they'd use any of the other means available to them, first. Fortunately, it was easy enough to pay it using my phone, and it was just minutes before youtube was working again lol.

Worrying about my dad since his fall the other day. My mom said he had to go back to the hospital today, but he's going to be okay. But I keep thinking she's hiding the truth about my dad's injuries because she doesn't want me to get really upset, which is understandable but I still hate it when people keep secrets from me. What if he's badly injured *and* he had covid? Getting injured would really decrease his immunity, I'm sure.

Geniuses thinking war is a fun, exciting video game adventure and not horrible at all. When I was a kid I remember adults thought video games and movies like Rambo would make kids think war is fun, but I don't know what the excuse is now since a lot of modern movies and games show how horrible and brutal it really is.

With all the things to worry about it's a wonder my hair hasn't gone completely grey by now. I really need a haircut right now, but it probably won't be necessary when it falls out from radiation. :(

Bad stuff. I can't mention it as I'm funny like that (nor am I talkative enough even if I wanted to), but bad is descriptive enough. Life sucks.

Good bits of life helped me, so it doesn't always suck.

All restrictions has been lifted in my country including masks.
I am scared of people getting too lax and catching covid. May God protect me and my family.

Wish me luck, an old spinal injury is once again being an even bigger bastard than I can be and I really now have to take advantage of this warm and clear day to go catch up on laundry which has gotten behind because of snow and ice and that same spinal injury.

My dad is still in the hospital. Apparently his fall caused him to get fluid in his lungs, and now he has pneumonia. Mom said not to worry, it's mild and he's being treated with antibiotics, but this is all just another harsh reminder how weaker we all get as we age and my parents won't be around forever. :(

Hopefully he recovers well, lostonearth35. Falls suck. I know how it goes there.

As for me, the same thing as yesterday (family stuff). Numb and dejected there (better than despondent). The good thoughts, dreams and hopes keep me going (as they always have); knowing someone is there that cares.
