Snow is expected to begin tonight, starting in northeastern Kansas
and building into far west and northwest Missouri through Midnight.
Snow will continue to build east through Thursday morning.
Accumulating snow, between 4 to 7 inches are possible. Impacts to
travel are expected, especially during the Thursday morning commute.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect beginning at 9 PM for much of
the region, with a Winter Weather Advisory surrounding the Warning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Snow will continue through the day on Thursday, finally beginning to
move off to the east through the evening and overnight. The Winter
Storm Warning ends at 6 AM Friday morning.
Very cold temperatures are forecast to follow this snow system.
Morning lows will be in the single digits Saturday with minimum wind
chills near zero or in the negative single digits.
