I've had a couple (this subject really interests me).

The first was where I was at a coworker's house opening Christmas presents. Everyone was opening up huge presents but I noticed I didn't get anything and was kinda bummed out. So I went to sit next to one of my other friends but the chair I sat on broke and I noticed it didn't have a bottom. So I decided to play basketball to work off aggression and my coworker screamed at me cause I won. Just as I was yelling back, an injured dog crawled out from beside the house and I felt so sorry for it cause it was limping and looked like it was gonna die.

The second, I was hanging out with my fiancee, my friend and her fiancee and was joking around with her fiancee when my friend got sick and threw up. Her fiancee accused us of poisoning her food and started to drive us home when I realized he was gonna kick us out and make us walk home instead of dropping us off. He drove home and started calling us all sorts of names when we realized he moved next door to my dad. I waved goodbye to my friend (who didn't acknowledge me or my fiancee) and we walked to my dad's house.

I dreamt my dad came back to me, sat on a chair and showed me a savings account passbook that was loaded with money. a lot of the figures were penciled in, though.

I dreamed it was the olden days, before there was buildings.

We had horses and I think one got stolen.

There was a lot of open land and shrubbery.

That's all I can remember.

I dreamt I was in my hometown only it was in the future maybe 20 years- the roads had gone back to dirt and rocks with bits of broken pavement here and there. hardly anybody was around, a few futuristic cars glided past. there were these two ruffian vagabonds who saw me in the distance and picked up their pace to catch up with me, I walked away from them and eventually we both ended up in this street front house, where they turned into two skinny dudes dressed all in white t shirt and slacks like mr. clean, and they both attacked me. I grabbed their heads and smashed 'em together like two coconuts, then rammed both their heads into the wall, which slowed them down enough for me to escape outside, then I awoke. went back to sleep, had another dream where I was in somebody's dorm room, and I was working on this weird computer when a delivery person came in with a piece of musical equipment I had earlier ordered, he sat down next to me at my puter and proceeded in an unwelcome manner to push a button which caused my puter to crash. I expressed displeasure at this, to which he replied as he walked out, "those are the breaks." he then handed me my bill as he walked out the door. then I awoke again.

Rarely remember my dreams, but I've had a very strange recurring dream as a child that occasionally disturbs my adult slumber when I'm especially stressed or anxious about something.

I find this dream very hard to describe, as I am a visual thinker.

I'm not me, I have no outline or extremities, I have no eyes and no concept of light or vision. Describing the place I'm in as 'dark' wouldn't be entirely accurate, it's just a void. The only thing I'm aware of is a rhythm, I would describe it as a sound if I had ears.
The rhythm is my entire universe, and soothes me with it's regularity until it becomes random and disorganised at which point I become aware of my raising anxiety levels.

At some point, my focus shifts down to the microscopic level and I marvel at how far I can zoom in on absolutely nothing, growing more and more excited as I race towards what feels like it might be some fundamental truth. Just on the event horizon of whatever epiphany lurks at the bottom, my momentum suddenly stops, and I am flung in the opposite direction / dimension towards an awareness of the intimidatingly macroscopic, which makes me more and more anxious until I phase into something else and notice the rhythm again.

There's no discernible beginning or end to the dream, just cycles of calm, panic, excitement, and terror.

Each time I wake from this, the sense of WTF is pretty hard to shake.

Except there's no travelling. I did use phrases and words that convey a sense of vectors and dimension, but this is because my limited vocabulary simply isn't up to the task of describing what I experience.

I heard that all dreams, no matter how bizarre are rooted somehow in actual memories and experiences. With this in mind, the only explanation I can think of for my dream is that it's somehow based on memories of being in the womb. I'm aware of how incredible this sounds, but I do have very clear memories of my first few months of life.

Something was recording way before I could make any sense of it.

my earliest memory is crawling out of the crib somehow and jumping on my mother's bed, and this woke her up with a start, and she promptly picked me up and put me back in the crib which she moved away from her bed. :hmph:

Remembering freakishly early experiences seems to be common among ASD flavoured people.

I never attributed my recurring dream to memory until I was diagnosed. Still pretty tentative, but more likely than some form of astral projection (which I genuinely wish were possible).

EDIT: You didn't say 'projection', whoops. I'd edit my reference if it wasn't dishonest

Robert Monroe seemed convinced it was possible. he wrote 3 books about it.

i dreamt i was at this humongous airport, and i was in a lobby waiting area with no airlines, all of the airlines were at another side of the complex, i don't know why i was there but there were a bunch of other people there as well, all waiting for i don't know what. there was also a stage there and a semi-improvised freeform performance was going on, with some of the waiting people performing by singing/dancing/acting roles. i was supposed to be one of them, my turn was coming up soon but kept getting delayed. the middle of the ground floor as well as all the upper floors were a combination hotel and hospital, and i made repeated trips back to my room which while on the ground floor somehow looked out over a broad wooded valley. my room had a large balcony and sliding glass doors accessing it, and the balcony i shared with the others on that side. i went out on it during some kind of storm that blew rain into my room through the screen door so i shut the door and went to my dresser, somehow didn't see my own reflection in the mirror, but noticed 2 checks on the dresser for $465 and $354 dollars. i thought about what i was gonna do about them when i heard my name called on the overhead page telling me my turn was coming up so i hurriedly brushed my hair and put on some pants and went back out there to the lobby but it turned out that some guy there was announcing all the planes were being held at the france airlines terminal for some unknown reason, so i went back to my room determined to cash the checks, and as soon as i grabbed the checks something possessed me to go looking for the room in the floor above my room so i got in the elevator and went up a floor, got out and saw this group of old people, one of which was saying "we're screwed." some older blonde lady saw me and asked me, "sir, did that man say we're screwed or stewed?" and i replied curtly, "screwed" and went on with my search for the room. a mental map appeared in my mind and i saw that i was supposed to look in wing 3B [where i worked in real life in a hospital many years back] and i was way over in 3D, so i went through door and hallway and door and hallway and then the doors just kept coming up, one right after the other, all with orange concealment over the windows so i could not see through to the other side, then i awoke with a start.

Last night, I had a dream that I've had before. I can't remember the first part of it now, but the second part involved me needing to use the bathroom. I went to find it, but there were two women's doors. I went it one, and was shocked by the size. There were all kinds of toilets and stalls that filled a massive room.

I kept opening stalls, but there was something wrong with each one. Some had doors that were too short, some were too small so there wasn't enough room to get in, some were missing the stall doors, some were missing toilets, some had automatic flush toilets which used to terrify me when I was younger, but now I'm okay with them and I think I only avoided them in my dream because there were so many options and I would prefer a regular toilet if given the choice, etc.

I'm not sure why I didn't leave and go try the other women's bathroom. It's weird that I've had this dream a few times now. The first part of the dream is different, but I can never remember it for long but the bathroom part sticks with me. The first part is not distressing, but the second part is mildly so.

I was outside in the backyard of a pleasant yard with lawn and trees and a platform sort of playhouse. Walked up the steps to it, and was looking at the view of tree tops and rooftops when someone yelled at me in alarm. A rattlesnake was just slithering onto the top step. To get away quickly instead of trying to hop over it, I held on the the edge and dropped the several feet to the grass. The people were going to kill it, but I put a 5 gallon bucket over it and a small piece of plywood over the top, and then let it go in a copse area nearby.
