Some food for me & my girlfriend & a couple knives at the county fair yesterday. We're going back tomorrow & I'm sure I'll buy more food & maybe more blades or something else.

A hotel room in Toronto for this Sunday.

I bought a laptop for 10 pounds from the Cash Converters in Ashton-Under-Lyne this afternoon. I'm making this post on it right now.

There are worse places to go, eg Hyde - I went there as well!

^^i'll probably pass through Hyde but I doubt very much I'll stop. It's years since I went to Ashton for shopping.

Worth checking out the 'Sandwich Pound' by the bus station - they do some good stuff!

Yeah well I was thinking of making a day of it. I'd like to have a look round ikea and I think it might be market day, if I'm not mistaken.

How's your laptop? Is it in good condition for that price?

It's an old XP machine, the Windows doesn't work too well but I'm using Linux on it right now and it's performing faultlessly!

Ok, so I was a good find then. How much is a day saver these days on a stagecoach bus?

I dunno, I only use First Buses, but I'm sure Stagecoach are cheaper - you'd probably get an all day ticket for around 4 pounds (no pound sign on this bloody Linux system... ).

Oh well, it might have cost 20 quid if you wanted pound signs as well.

There's lots of things I could have bought today but instead I came home empty handed.

It's the paying for things I object to more than anything.

Physically: A Switch, Splatoon 2 and a Growlithe plushie (my favourite!)

Digitally: Minecraft Switch Edition.

Purple stock, nettle, fennel, lemongrass, blackberries and a hand made tamale, at the local farmers market.
