During mid to late summer, I always start feeling nostalgic over previous obsessions, especially the days I obsessed over Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin. They were particularly special to me because I got to share them with a very close friend who was just as obsessed as I was, even though she was an NT. It all seems so trivial when I type the words, but the significance of it is immense, even if only just to me.

I was in AZ on New Years Eve one year and saw some fireworks in Tempe.

I don't think I will capture any fireflies tonight. Maybe another night. I live in an urban area and I see a few here and there but not like growing up in the countryside where there were hundreds in my back yard.

The fireworks have finally subsided, well, ok one just went off in the distance. It is time for me to hit the hay. I hope I can sleep, long day tomorrow.

Coolio. I'm not in Tempe, but in a city near it (which I won't say for safety reasons).
