1. One of the first songs I remember was “Ticket to Ride.”

2. I knew it was by the Beatles when I first heard it.

3. I didn’t know the name of the song “Sunshine Superman,” though I knew it within 3 notes when I was about 7.

1. I love the colours lilac, violet and periwinkle, especially when the light plays tricks and you can't tell if they are purple, blue or mauve.

2. I like all forms of pasta noodles including rotini, fusilli, spaghettini and lasagna.

3. I like gardening so that I can get my hands dirty in the soil, and feel at one with the gutteral earth.

LOL....Correct! To the extent where I didn't even know who did the song, nor really cared. I just liked the song.

1. I found out Jimi Hendrix passed away through a poster at a store called McCrory's.

2. I used to envy all the people who could get those fruity drinks that were exhibited at the lunch counter at McCrory's.

3. I became excellent at jacks through assiduously practicing with my Orthodox Jewish friend.

I would say #3 for Isabella.

I had a great aunt named Bella.

For Blackicmenace, I would also say #3.

#3 is absolutely correct. I became decent at jacks after assiduous practice mostly alone---but never excellent.

3 is indeed my lie, Sir Wolfman! I don't have any sisters.
My second chicken pox was milder and could possibly be considered shingles, but it did occur twice.
I love crickets.

I will say 3 for blackicmenace, as well (thanks again for that great song) :)

1. I went to town for a new prescription of migraine medication today. Lo and behold, my migraine vanished on my journey so I've yet to try one.

2. I would love to holiday somewhere hot and sunny like Hawaii.

3. I have been writing letters and listening to music that reminds me of my best friend from 1981 - 1982, Christine.

I haven't quite recovered from our friendship, if that's possible.

1. I could come up with sonnets on a dime----like John Keats used to do when he was hanging out with his friends.

2. I danced with the Hare Krishnas on 63rd Drive in Queens when I was 10.

3. I skinny-dipped with a lesbian friend in the Adirondacks in 1993.

RE:
1 - I'm sure you came up with Romantic sonnets on a dime, but I'm not convinced they were the quality of Keats (or Byron, Shelley, Blake, Wordsworth or Coleridge, for that matter), although you don't say that they were. I also think Keats was a solitary writer, and not one to write with his brat pack. Hmmm.. You wrote a complex statement but I'll say it's true since you wrote readily.

2 - No, it was elsewhere.

3 - Yes

In Kraftian fashion,

1. I wrote poetry and still do. Much is modelled on the styles of Chaucer, Coleridge and Brontë.

2. I write short stories for a quarterly, international publication.

3. I wrote and self-published a 188 page autobiography with additional appendices, photos and notes, for my ASD assessment.

I hope none of these are lies.....but, for some reason, I sense that #2 is the lie (not because of lack of ability).

My lie is #1. I can't come up with sonnets on a dime---though you've presented me with a challenge

I actually danced with the Hare Krishnas on 63rd Drive, right in front of Woolworth's. I also skinny-dipped with a lesbian on a 15 degree Celsius day up in the mountains of New York.
