according to dreammoods.com-
God
To see God in your dream signifies your spirituality and expression of your feelings about divinity. God also symbolizes an untouchable, unreachable, and unattainable notion of perfection. Thus such a dream may highlight your struggles and attempts with trying to be perfect. To dream that you are worshipping God signifies repentance of your actions and errors. To dream that God speaks to you signifies feelings of guilt, eternal punishment, and damnation.

I think it was about what happened at work, but maybe about my ideas about God too.

When I can remember them, but yours are a lot more memorable more often. I still want to be able to do that.

practice makes more perfect. just get into the habit of recapping the salient points of the dream in the order they occurred, use a notepad if you have to. but do it as soon as you are aware you just dreamt while it is still fresh in waking mind.

About a week ago, one night I was a sniper trying to assassinate Hitler whilst living next door to him in the same apartment block.

*Sit down in classroom and told to get out a piece of paper.*

*All my pencils are barely functional crap.*

"Write down a title for the story you will write. Then under the title give further thoughts about it."

The first thing I think. 100 Ways To Kill The Devil. Did the teacher mention having to include the number 100? Can't remember. Should I be writing a book that is violent? I mean the world is violent enough.

I could call the book: 100 Ways To Kill The Devil: A Hunter's Guide. But I still think it comes off too violent.

What did I end up writing on the page? Can't remember now. Then I put something about Peter and MJ.

Should I have called it a 100 Evil Creatures? Or 100 Fae Creatures? With that it could be my own mythology. They wouldn't have to actually be evil. Just the explorer or hunter at first assumes they are.

Still think it's weird. So I haven't written down my actual ideas.

*Teacher walks around picking up papers. She goes for mine and I tell her it's a mess. Need to re-write it.*

*A guy in class starts talking to me.*

"You wrote something. If you put it on the page then you're interested in it. To act otherwise is in-sentiment."

*I just look at him like he doesn't understand. The whole thing is making me anxious.*

"The story you write once finished will be at least 324,000 words."

She wants us to write a complete book?

Devil
To see the devil in your dream signifies fear, limitations, and negative aspects of yourself. You may be harboring feelings of guilt. It is time to release these feelings. Alternatively, the devil represents intelligence, cunningness, deception, and cleverness. To dream that you fight off the devil indicates that you will succeed in defeating your enemies.
School
To dream that you are in school signifies feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved. It may relate to anxieties about your performance and abilities. If you are still in school and dream about school, then the dream may just be a reflection of your daily life and has no special significance.
Alternatively, a dream that takes place in school may be a metaphor for the lessons that you are learning from your waking life. You may be going through a "spiritual learning" experience.
Teacher
To see your teacher (past or present) in your dream suggests that you are seeking some advice, guidance, or knowledge. You are heading into a new path in life and are ready to learn by example or from a past experience. Consider your own personal experiences with that particular teacher. What subject was taught? Alternatively, a teacher relates to issues with authority and seeking approval. You may be going through a situation in your waking life where you feel that you are being treated like a student or in which you feel you are being put to a test. Also pay attention to the demeanor and attitude of the teacher in your dream. If the teacher in your dream is mean, then it implies that you may be putting too much pressure on yourself to succeed.
Book
To see or write a satanic book in your dream symbolizes your one-sided way of thinking and looking at things. You are trying to denounce any responsibility in your actions and are putting forth as little effort as possible.
Pencil
To see a pencil in your dream indicates that you are making a temporary impact in a situation. It may also suggest that a relationship will not last long. To dream that you are sharpening a pencil suggests that you need to be more flexible in your way of thinking. Listen to what others have to say; don't be so quick to reject their views and opinions. Alternatively, to sharpen a pencil means that you need to make your best offer in some business deal. Perhaps the dream is trying to offer you some professional advice on how to close a deal. To dream that you have pencil lead stuck in your fingers implies that you need to start putting your words into action.

I few night ago I had a dream that involved me, a friend, a hurricane in Africa, and a man-eating zombie-like monster, not unlike this guy from Outlast:

Image

I guess we were in some sort of abandoned warehouse next to...the ocean? I remember the floor was kind of flooded?heck, I think this was Outlast-inspired, too. Except for the whole opening-next-to-the-ocean-thing.

So we were in Africa for someone unknown reason, and for an equally unknown reason, we were running around in some flooded warehouse, trying to escape from a strange mutated monster?not unlike the generator room puzzle from Outlast. When we got outside to where we could overlook the ocean and the storm, my friend and I decided that we were going to stop it, and I think in turn that would somehow stop this monster attacking us.

How were we to stop the storm, you ask? (You probably didn't ask, but just go with it.)

My friend was carrying a science textbook with him, and earlier in the dream he had showed me a cartoon picture of a guy eating peanuts. I determined that the only way to stop this hurricane/storm and the aggressive zombie was to find that picture of a guy eating peanuts. Maybe one of us had peanuts in our pockets and the book was going to tell us how to use a handful of legumes to stop a hurricane?I don't know. But in my dream I was the rational one and I seemed to know what I was doing.

So then we started flipping through the textbook like crazy trying to find the picture. The storm grew closer. I believe the monster attacked my friend at least once. (I don't think I was ever attacked, just him. Hehe.) At some point it got really windy and a small stack of parchment paper fell out of my friend's pocket. He yelled, 'No, my horoscopes!' and stooped to pick them up. At this point the monster was ready to attack again and the storm was getting dangerous, so I yelled at him to forget his stupid horoscopes and to find the gosh dang peanut page already.

Eventually I got the obvious idea to look in the index under the 'p's. In real life you probably wouldn't have expected 'peanuts' to be in there, but it was, right next to the number '223'. I flipped to 223 and...I assume we stopped the storm somehow. I don't even know what we did after that.

I dreamed of a place call The Sierra Delta (it turns out to not even be real).

Anyway, it was a documentary about the place. In my dream it was a really beautiful place with blue sea and lovely yellow sand.

The interesting part about The Sierra Delta was that it was a very dangerous place to go because it has freak tides.

It could never be predicted when these tides would come, so nobody ever went there.

Even the documentary maker was really worried.

It was quite funny to see him scrambling over a great big stone wall because he didn't know when the tide was coming.

Anyway, it seemed better when I was dreaming it.

I just looked up Sierra Delta on the urban dictionary. It came up as Sierra delta and stood for when someone was in a bad situation in the Vietnam War. It really stood for Dog s**t but they called Delta Sierra over the radios instead.

Now I understand the significance of my dream.

When things are really tough at work. I always say that I'm squeezing the dog s**t out of the data.

Or I say they are giving us dog s**t data to work with.

We're going through one of those stages at the moment.

That'll make me smile today.

I know it's the opposite way round though, but anyway.
