Well, I do telecommunications but a big part of it is data processing or as I call it "Sifting through the s**t".

I started dreaming one of my recurring dreams about going into the back of a toystore with some spending money and looking for the Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJDs).

Usually in my dreams I can never find them, but this time I became slightly lucid and decided to look in a different section of the store where I knew they'd be. Sure enough, I came across an entire showroom filled with them. I was elated. I went around to booths admiring all the different dolls and watching their creators paint expressions on their faces. The dolls came in a variety of sizes, from about the size of a pencil to about the size of a toddler. Most of the parts were hung up on those rotating rack things that stores usually keep jewelry on. I noticed that either I found bodies without heads (sometimes just torsos and nothing else) or heads without bodies.

For some reason, I saw toddler-sized Madoka Magica characters' heads and I wanted to find a body that would fit the main character, Madoka, so that I could buy her and take her home. However, I had trouble reaching her head and when I finally got it, she had a shocked expression on her face. I was disappointed as I had wanted her to be smiling.

I kept trying to stay asleep even when I was starting to wake up, because I didn't want to leave the doll showroom. I was a bit sad when I woke up, because I knew I would never get my hands on one of those dolls without breaking the bank. In my dream, the dolls were about $15 - $30 each; in real life, they can be anywhere from $200 up to $2000.

Looking back, I'm not sure why I felt so peaceful and happy being in a room filled with doll body parts strewn around. It sounds more like a horror movie scene when I type it out (indeed, as a child, the Sid scenes in the first Toy Story movie gave me nightmares).

I dreamt I was in some small town I'd never been before in waking life, it was a carnival type of day where the whole town was decked out and the local people were all milling about at outdoor exhibits featuring square dancing and livestock and other farm things, and I was there pushing a big wheeled air conditioning unit piled high with my personal belongings down the main street. strange.

I just looked up Sierra Delta on the urban dictionary. It came up as Sierra delta and stood for when someone was in a bad situation in the Vietnam War. It really stood for Dog sh** but they called Delta Sierra over the radios instead.

Now I understand the significance of my dream.

When things are really tough at work. I always say that I'm squeezing the dog sh** out of the data.

Or I say they are giving us dog sh** data to work with.

We're going through one of those stages at the moment.

That'll make me smile today.

I know it's the opposite way round though, but anyway.

"Sierra Delta" is lovely sounding name. But its a total contradiction.

"Sierra" is Spanish for "mountain" (the "high sierras").

A "delta" is a region where a river empties into the sea - and dumps all of its silt-forming a 'delta' (letter D) shaped fan of flat marshy lowlands. The two most famous being the Nile Delta in Egypt, and the Louisiana Delta of the Mississippi. So a "delta" in the high "sierras" is impossible. So its an unlikely moniker for any real place on the map.

That contradiction may, or may not, have anything to do with why you dreamt it.

a "complete contradiction" may be another way of saying something is SNAFU'ed as in the aforementioned barnyard-imagery Vietnam example.

Yes. Both avenues of interpretation lead to the conclusion that "things are going to the dogs"!

A few weeks ago, I had a nightmare that a strawberry attached itself to my hand and started eating my flesh.

In my dream of a couple nights ago I was with people I don't know. We were by some cars stopped at angles in a two lane road. I was standing and had to dodge at least one car that drove by. Then another drove by and threw something into the back of a pickup I was standing behind. The object was about the size of a pillow but looked more solid. There was a guy in the back of the pickup who immediately got on top of the object and then the pickup took off. I jumped and grabbed the tailgate (which was not fully closed but at an angle), stood on the bumper and hung on for dear life as the pickup accelerated down the road. I gathered (maybe something was said, details are fuzzy now) that this was an important object that we needed to either stop something bad from happening or do something good, and that some bad people wanted this object very badly and would try to stop us.

Also, there were three different Batmans in the dream somehow, not actually present but in my awareness of that dream reality. Besides the regular Batman, another had red as his color instead of black, a red Batman and red Batmobile. And another was speckled black and white as the colors of his uniform and Batmobile. And the thing is, I didn't know (and maybe nobody else did either) which if any of these Batmans were good guys or bad guys. I woke up while still standing on the rear bumper and clinging to the partly opened tailgate of that pickup truck speeding down a road.

I vaguely recall being on a white ocean-going vessel, powered by diesel- we were at a standstill then the captain called for the engineer to get it started and en route to its destination that I didn't know- once the big boat was underway the winds were tremendous, and I foolishly opened a door on the side only to have it nearly ripped out of my hands, and the other passengers shouted at me to close it so I did. in the next scene I am back in the army but as I am now, with my hair long and halfway down my back, only nobody gave me any static about it, which in the American army is very strange as they are so chickenshit about having butch-short hair.

Flesh
To notice your flesh in your dream represents a heightened sense of feeling and vitality. It symbolizes your sexual urges and physical desires. To dream of flesh being eaten suggests that you are under tremendous stress and feel drained.
Hands
To dream of your hands represent your relationships with those around you and how you connect with the world. The left hand symbolizes your graciousness and your feminine, receptive qualities, while the right hand symbolizes the masculine and active attributes. The right hand may also be a pun for some decision or something being "right". To see blood on your hands signifies that you are experiencing some sort of guilt.
Strawberry
To see or eat strawberries in your dream signify your sensual desires and temptations. Strawberries are often associated with feminine qualities and female sexuality. Alternatively, to see strawberries in your dream indicate that your ideas and goals will soon be realized.

"Being consumed" by sexuality is what it sounds like to me.

Just a guess.

Yesterday I dreamt that I was at some kind of training center, to learn something I needed for my job, or something like that.. and every evening there would be some kind of entertainment program. One evening one of my favourite bands had a 'concert' there. I was super excited and we were like three people in a small room listening to them and dancing really weird.

It's more likely because I was worrying that my strawberry plants had a virus and then I read about a parasite (Cymothoa exigua) before going to bed (not a good idea). This parasite attaches itself to a fish's tongue and consumes the tongue, replacing it.
