After a supercr*p day at work undercooked pizza for dinner. Yes I know that's petty. I'm feeling a bit fragile at the moment.

That reminds me of a funny story with my dad.

My dad was friends with my mom's brother sorta and they were in their early 20's...I think.
They took a road trip, just the 2 of them from where we live, to Salt Lake City Utah. (12 hours away).
Now, my dad had family in Blanding (half-way there) and they stopped to have some homemade rootbeer in vintage bottles.
My dad was driving and he realized they had those in the car.
My uncle said they could just keep it at my dad's grandparents house, but no, he wanted to go back.
Yet, they hadn't eaten dinner yet...but they expected dinner from the family in Blanding Utah.
It's a teensy tiny city, and one resaraunt was open.
They ended up microwaving pizza for my uncle and my dad.
They made a 12 hour road trip into a 20-hour-starving-pull of to the side of the road in Price, Utah (I think 4 hours away) and fall asleep in the car-road-trip.

I just found out that a friend I had worked with this summer had died.
His name was Keenan, he was only 20. He got into a car crash, went into a coma and didn't recover.
F'n SUCKS man! Keenan was a cool kid. It just screws with me big time when the young die.

The person analyzing my condition called my special interest an obsession. Grr!

My poor laptop contracted something over the week-end. I certainly hope it won't be too hard to cure it.

I caught myself referring to my laptop as, "she," twice today. Argh!

Quite a long list of things made me unhappy. I won't go ranting about it though.

My nephew, just posted on Facebook how he announced that he's gay to the guys at his gym. This would not be an issue except he's living and studying in Sri Lanka, where homosexuality is illegal. He said they all left the gym after he said that. He thinks it's funny. I think he just screwed up and I'm worried about him.

Every time I look at my new apartment I notice more things I don't like about it and wonder if I made a mistake in taking that one. Well it can't be worse than where I am now since my furnace is unreliable and leaks gas sometimes (so I'm freezing or distressed from smelling gas) and the roof leaks. The new one is much bigger too. I'm going from a two bedroom with living room and kitchen and open back porch to a 3 bedroom with a living room, dining room, kitchen, enclosed front porch, and a very tiny room with shelves in it between the living room and porch. We can put dvds or books on those shelves and we have a lot, vhs tapes too. There is also a washer and dryer in the back hall which we only have to share with 1 person who we know. Right now we do nearly all our laundry by hand.

I think most of this is my extreme anxiety and once I'm all moved in and unpacked and have a few days/weeks to adjust to all the different things I'll probably love it. I really need to do something about my anxiety soon.

I'm sorry about your friend Pete. May he rest in peace.

That's scarey. I hope he doesn't get arrested or hurt for doing that Aimless.

It's frustrating when you're looked on as the bad guy because people only know one side of the story

Of course I am a troublemaker. Anytime I make friends or call a place home...there's bound to be people who hate me. Horray. I'm not going anywhere yet. I'm too creative for that.

People speak
Yet little details
Seem to tweak

Heads roll
Eyes turn
angry hearts
stomachs churn

this is life
yes it's lame
seems to all
be a game

say it right
or speak no more
dancing words
on the floor

twisted ankle
I still dance
this is not
my last chance

Here's a thought
take it deep
silence
will not keep

Creative minds
will overcome
let us now
have some fun

I'm so worried I made a mistake in taking this apartment. It's not ready yet and I have a list of more things that need fixing. I hope I'm not getting another slumlord like my current one.

We're still on a waiting list for an apartment from my mother's job and will take that and move when one comes up. The rent for those is about $150 cheaper and it includes utilities.
