#2 is the lie. But his first name had nothing to do with England. His last name was Engler (which, I suppose, bears some relationship to England). I once did know a guy named Frank Englander, though.

1. Donny K. Kick worked in the same room I worked in.

2. Donny K. Kick worked on the same project I did.

3. Donny K. Kick was at least five years older than I.

Nope. He worked on the same project, but didn't work in the same room. After about 15 months or so, I switched departments, and moved to night shift. This was all in the early 1980s.

There was a young girl (who became our manager, by the way!) who was really into Princess Di; she even had the haircut. She worked on the same project I worked on, though she worked in a different room.

1. I trained my present-day supervisor.

2. She's from the same country as my wife.

3. She would not allow me to date her mother.

2 for the Wolfman.

1. My friend Christine wrote me very perceptive letters in 1981 and I still have them.

2. Christine moved to another country when I was 14.

3. Christine and I both liked the same boy.

Nope. She is from the same country as my wife. She did not prevent me from dating her mother, though she wanted to. She is only about 1 3/4 years younger than me.

No, my lie is 2. Christine didn't move away. We became estranged at age 14 when I became reclusive. I moved away a couple of years after age 14 but when I returned we ended up at the same Uni. We didn't speak to each other though. I don't even remember knowing she was there (I've since seen her name in graduation announcements). It's all very sad.

1. I'm going to buy some milk now.

2. I also need some blueberries.

3. I might get some wine while I'm at it.

#3. You're not a "winey" person

Yep. Rather sad about Christine; you seemed to have gotten on well together.

1. I was sans friends for maybe six months in 7th grade.

2. I invited this kid in the house. He drank some of our Hawaiian Punch or something. I lied, and stated that he forced me in the house. I recanted the lie pretty quickly when they threatened to call the cops.

3. Ultimately, I joined the group of kids who liked writing graffiti on the walls.

3 for you.

Yep. #3 is correct. I thought I'd rather be lonely and drink Hawaiian Punch-----than hang out with those kids who would get me in trouble.

1. The most practical and useful class I ever took was Typing.

2. The hardest class I ever took was an Intellectual History seminar (it was worse than Anthropology).

3. I won a Chemistry award in undergrad for my research on the origin of bad smells.

I'm thinking #3.....

1. I watched the old World Trade Center towers being built.

2. I thought they were ugly---and I hated it that it beat out the Empire State Building.

3. I boycotted the restaurant near the top of one of the WTC towers because of this dislike.

Kortie, how dare you lie to me? You aren't telling the truth about #3.

#3 it is, indeed.

I did go to that restaurant. It was with my brother, etc., though---so I didn't enjoy it.

3 is indeed my lie, but I knew people who knew her.

1. I had a dream wherein I discussed the meaning of time with the poet Longfellow. He used the metaphor of time being like a trampoline.

2. I had a dream wherein my father's mother showed me all the places she had been in her life. They turned out to be alarmingly accurate.

3. I have had several dreams about my father's father (suicide) coming back to life in a clay pit, like a zombie. He always smells like mud. I'm not afraid of him, but I'm curious.
