^^PA is a nice little northern port city with a working class yet arty vibe. i like it, and it was a flip of the coin as to me not living there in favor of where i live now. last time i got to visit BC was in '92. now it takes a nexus card or a GD passport. no thanx.

where are you, again?

i have a passport and spending money, plus SSI deposit will arrive in the beginning of this month. i think i'll do it, will probably take my bike. if i go, it will be the 9th foreign country i've stepped in. others being:

mexico
turkey (hardly)
croatia
slovenia
austria
hungary
slovakia
czech republic

middle class??

maybe my parents were...i'm still living off the money i was able to save up while with my generous parents and working. only time will tell if i'm still this flexible in a year from now. :ninja:

one of the markers of class is the routine ability to travel far from the locale of one's birth. working class people by and large can't afford this unless it is a desperation thing where they have to greyhound it or thumb it.
