^ & ^^ Just to put out a good word for them: there are NTs who do enjoy solitary activities, although I’ll admit they seem to be a minority, they do exist.

Agreed, however i think what the poster meant is that people judge others for not being super social or having friends when this is not always under our control.

I know: even most of the NTs I know who don’t (or at least don’t openly) judge me for being largely self-contained and solitary talk as if it’s a thing to be pitied rather than my preferred way of being that I’m comfortable and content with.
Thankfully the ones I have contact with on a weekly basis just accept it for what it is: hence I felt the need to put in a positive word.
But yes: I got fed up with people who insisted on trying to ‘bring me out of myself’ years before anyone raised the notion I might be AS, and dropped them from my life.
