On my 30th birthday my then boyfriend gave me a chocolate bar with the orange sticker still on it, as my gift.

I spent my day getting a bad perm.

My parents gave me a phone similar to this, which was Pay-As-You-Go. I called it The Brick.

It was my first mobile phone.

I had a whole lot of nothing going on today. It may get crazy tomorrow, or not.

I'm taking an office break for the virus, I just don't know how soon. Perhaps it's inevitable but I do plan on doing something.

That was an advanced phone for the late 90s.....

It had its own clear rubber case too, with a snap dome. I was pretty hot stuff with that phone.

Fnord and Sweetleaf didn't even bother replying to my thread about the film people who kept slandering me. Maybe I am to blame for absolutely everything that goes on in my life. Right?

I feel the need to clarify about my previous post regarding coronavirus. I am not worried about me or my family getting it. That does not mean I think that it's overall no big deal and think that taking any precautions is silly. I understand the concern for people who are at high risk of death from it, people who have regular contact with someone who's high-risk, and people who can't afford to miss work for two weeks. I also understand the concern of not having enough hospital space if a whole lot of people get it - for example, if one percent of people who get the virus will require hospitalization (I'm just making that up, I don't know the actual figures), if ten thousand people in an area get sick, that will still be roughly a hundred people, which would be a lot for local hospitals to deal with. I don't think this whole thing is much ado about nothing, I just am not personally concerned.

I turned 30 recently too. I panicked about it right up until the day, then felt alright about it on the day itself and afterwards .

They're saying not to touch your face specifically in the UK- I'm not sure if this is making me touch my face more or if it's something I've always done
