I think it's finally gone thanks, but it was there almost 24 hours.
Just the tiniest little shard, but enough to be very painful.

Sadly I'm still chewing other pens.

How are you and the boys feeling?

It's hilarious if someone mistook it for a LARP group.
Or a group full of enthusiasts who only likes the whole thing wishing and pretending it to be 'real'.

Didn't everyone tell you? Be careful what you wish for.
Said at least half of these people with serious stuff would rather wish it's not 'serious'.

You're like my elder son, he does the same thing. :D
Have you tried silicone straws? I got a bunch for him, they might be good?

He rarely uses them, but you know what works for him (his teacher got him this):

You might love that.. it's expensive though.. but maybe it's worth it so less pens get mutilated

Thanks for the link. I might have to get me some of those! It's not as expensive as Chubuddy stuff!

Art, particularly my watercolor paintings I just made because I think they kind of look decent and I want to make more.

Such relief! My daughter(adult, AS who works providing therapy and care to children and young adults on the spectrum) has caught the virus from a family with twins on the spectrum who all have had it diagnosed. Just today, daughter reports the high fever has broken, and now she’s just left with a chesty cough and fatigue, and severe headache is even lessening. She has struggled with breathing, eating, walking, talking in the past with an autoimmune disorder(MG - mysasthenia gravis), so we were all very worried. She’s currently in remission. Hope everyone here on WP are coping and staying strong.xx

I don't worry much, if not at all.
In fact, I don't worry enough to have a temptation that borders disregard to safety.

To compensate with my lack of worry: it's either logic and common sense, or I have to rely on the worries and fears of others to dance around with. :skull:

It's just I simply react emotionally too differently and therefore see things just as differently... There's not much need to tell to someone like me to calm down by not worrying much.

More like I have to calm down and do something more appropriate with my boredom.

Maybe my lists are a form of stimming? I don't know.

Is it selfish to ignore someone who keeps whining? He's bringing down my health with worry over him. He has friends to talk to.

I wish I had a caseworker or counsellor myself.

I don't think things will be the same again.
This does not mean we need to panic.

Well, they’ve never stayed the same in the past: so it’s just service as normal! :D
No need to panic: change will remain constant. :P

I actually like this change and more than ever look forward at the outcome of said change.

:| While everyone else worry what's going to happen and what's happening, while most of them wish for it to just end and be back to normal.
I don't feel the same way. I'm not even guilty about it. But I'm just confused why is this...

... Do I actually dislike the normalcy and the familiar order before this? I do not know.
For a good portion of my life, somewhere at the back of my mind I'm very well looking forward for any massive change.
Be it a good one or a horrible one I simply look forward to it -- do I really dislike the idea of normal or even order this much?? :? Did I actually perceive 'normal' even unpredictable 'normal' as monotonous??

I just realized that actually, I probably am at a higher risk of being seriously affected by COVID-19 because of my undiagnosed respiratory issues (probably mild asthma). The Singulair I take along with my bazillion other pills in the mornings keeps it mostly under control except when I exercise (which is why I haven't bothered seeking some sort of diagnosis), so it didn't even occur to me before. It feels weird to think of myself as one of the more vulnerable people, because I'm young and generally pretty healthy, but there's just that one little thing... yeah, that one little thing that could literally be the death of me if I catch this virus. Oddly, I'm not much perturbed by it. Mostly just accepting my fate, whatever it may be. And even if I did have much anxiety about it, I couldn't mention it to my parents because whenever I mention my breathing issues they sigh and roll their eyes like they think I'm making a big deal about nothing. Yeah, try falling multiple laps behind everyone else when running laps in PE and having the shortness of breath last the entire rest of the day, or walking around a college campus literally feeling just about like someone has placed a particularly heavy brick on your chest, or lying on your bed struggling to breathe and wondering if this is the time you'll end up going to the ER in an ambulance, then tell me I'm just playing up things "everyone" feels.

I think I'm now officially obsessed (temporarily, at least) with ultralights and small airplanes. Pretty sure I could build either one if I had space to work and a little bit of equipment.

My cousin's wife is a respiratory nurse and technologist in Pennsylvania. I'm thinking about the sacrifices she is making for her family with two little girls and a husband at home. She is staying in a hotel so she won't carry any virus home to her family. She posts updates of thank you cards from patients' families. They're so grateful that she is so loving and giving, and that she respects her family's needs too.

God bless all the medical staff who are working tirelessly and keeping their own families safe.
