Peter Shickele got me with it.

Isn't it just hideous? (ROFLTIP) One of my cats is giving me an absolutely FILTHY glare - I've subjected her to both versions at this point, poor thing.

^^^ I don't think cats like it when humans laugh, they think we're going crazy or something and fear us. and speaking of peter schikele, he did a hilarious "play by play Beethoven sportscast" bit on his first album, called "new horizons in music appreciation-

I saw these guys live. 1988 I think. They (or their predecessors) did this then. Poor Prokofiev.
